On Sat. Nov. 6th, Fantasmic at MGM is at 8:00pm. After that, I can zoom over to MK and see Wishes at 10:00pm! Think it can be done?

According to All Ears Net- Fantasmic is 25-mins. long
So you should be able to get to the MK for Wishes.

Yes, BUT . . . .
You really want to try to sit as close to the Fastasmic exit as possible. They often only have one route out of the theater and there can really be a half hour backup to get out if you're in the back of the pack and the theater is full. (Not to mention what that means for the lines to get on the buses to MK).

We did the exact thing a few weeks ago and made sure to get an aisle and we started walking to the exit about halfway through sorcerer Mickey and watched the final 30 seconds from the exit.

(The other options is to walk or bus to Epoct for Illuminations and see Wishes another night). Definately don't miss Wishes though. As someone who has been to Disney a lot and usually passes on the pure fireworks shows - they have created a show that is now really worth seing.

Been there done that. I have seen 7:00pm Fantasmic and then made the 9:00pm Illuminations show. It really wasn't that bad. We took the boat from MGM to the Yacht/Beach club and walked from there. We have also done it another time when we walked the whole way. That cut the time a little tight, but the boat was nowhere to be seen. The frustrating thing about the boat is that it stops at the Boardwalk prior to EPCOT. It is shorter to walk from the Yacht/Beach club. And of course there is always the bus, but this drops you off at the front of EPCOT leaving you with a long walk to Illuminations.
But then again... you aren't going to Illuminations... you're going to Magic! That is a little harder since the MK is farther away and you have to deal with the TTC.

Actually, the buses which go to the MK from another Park take you right to MK rather than TTC so you don't have to worry about that. The bigger worry is hoping that too many people with the same idea as you get to the MGM bus stop. Still, you do have over an hour and should be fine!

If the MK bus line is long, look for the Contemporary bus, you can do that walk in less than 5 minutes to the main gate.

Enjoy

Faith, I am planning to do the same thing on the 8th. I want to see Fantasmic at 8pm and then hop over to MK to see WISHES at 10pm. If I see you that Saturday you'll have to tell me how it worked out so I can devise a plan. :)

I saw WISHES on a fireworks cruise a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing but I want to see it up close because we couldn't hear the audio and missed some of the other effects as well.

Good point Sandy - a variant would be to take a cab to the lights by the CR entrance and then walk over to the MK

Thanks

We are thinking about doing the same thing on the same day!!! Except we will be bopping back from US (which closes at 6) to MGM then off to MK... I like to think of it as our Amazing Race day!!
