We are using the magical express Service when we arrive, but a couple of days into the vacation I am renting a car. SO the question is as follows.
Since I will not be using the service to get back to the airport when we leave, do you think I can use the return to go pick up the rental car at the airport?

When we returned to MCO on the ME on Mon 5/30 from POP, we just waited at the bus load/unload area until a ME bus came along. The driver looked at our ME paperwork, but not closely. Mostly I think she checked that our paperwork said 2 riders and there were 2 people boarding, she didn't ask for ID or anything. Our bus wasn't even at 1/2 capacity, so unless the bus was packed I doubt they would care if you jumped on and rode to the airport. I'd have your ME paperwork with you though just to prove that you were "authorized".

There are car pick up places at the WDW Car Care Center. If you look at the different rental car companies website they'll list whether or not they offer pick-up at the car care center or your resort. Some will send a shuttle to pick you up and bring you to their office or the car care center.

I was wondering about the same type of thing. We will be at Disney for 8 days and then Cocoa Beach for 3 days. It would be cheaper to use the Express service to get to the resort and hopefully back to the airport-not for a return flight but to get to the rental car.
