Do you think Disney will have free dinning in 2014

To be honest, it's way too early to tell. Considering we don't even know if FD will be offered for October through December this year, I'd say wait until January to get a better idea. Sorry that I couldn't have been more of a help.

I was just going to say the same thing - we don't know if they are going to be offering it for fall of this year yet!
I would bet even the folks at Disney don't know if or when they will offer Free Dining in 2014. I would imagine the number crunchers will be looking at it. If I had to guess, based on historical info - my best guess would be Sept 2014.

I have free dinning for Oct of this year. We got a pin for it so it is offered if you got a pin code. So you really can't say it's not being offered for that time.

I'm fairly sure that the PP meant (and I agree with) since it hasn't been offered as a general public discount it really hasn't been offered. Only a lucky "few" (few being a relative number) have gotten a FD Pin.

OP the economy is improving so I suspect less discounts will be offered. You should look at historical data (mousesavers maybe?) from several years ago - I think Sept 2014 is your best bet for FD

PIN codes are, obviously, not widely available and can sometimes only be sent to ten families; the OP seemed to be referring to the general public, and no discount is available to the general. In other words, it's being offered for you but not for me and most others. I think most would agree that it's okay to say "it's not being offered at this time". Others have said it as well. Not trying to be rude or anything just as clear as possible.

I still have no idea how we even got the fd pin code as well have never reall been to or stayed at Disney before, and to top it off it came to my dh who never books anything or sends for planning I fo at all... I do all that and he of all people gets a fd pin code...

The way that they assign PINs is odd. I've been visiting the parks for 15 years and have never received a PIN. Then again, I've also never gotten stuck on a ride, so I guess you need to take the positives with the negatives!

Well, yes we can say it's not being offered. You asked if Free Dining would be offered - it has not been offered to the GP for the fall of this year.
Can some (like yourself) receive a PIN code for it? Obviously.

If you ask a question and want honest answers, why pick at people over the details you are obviously aware of? :confused3

Actually, I believe it has...

And, based on the past few years of evidence, I'm pretty sure we'll see it again in 2014, to some extent, probably around the peak of hurricane season.

I think they were talking about October on, not just September.

If you want to get technical, fall doesn't even start until the end of September. Most of September is still considered summer, as far as the calendar is concerned.

No I was talking just in general as when do everyone think it will be for 2014

Follow the string of comments. I wasn't talking about 2014 and your question.

The first poster (who replied to you) said that there's no way to know if there will be free dining in fall 2014 when we don't even know if there will be free dining for fall of this year yet. The next person replied that there is free dining already going on for September, which led to my comment.

The economy is still in the dumps and WDW is addicted to special offers and FD is one their most popular offers. You can book it - there will be some form of FD in 2014.

We received one pin code ever and it was for 30% off of a room...it came to my then 7 year old son!!!!! So who knows!!! But I will say...we used it!!!:cool1:

Odds are good that you will see it for September in the US. Everything else is up in the air as far as general public offers. PIN codes could come out anytime.

UK offers are never the same as the US ones and shouldn't be used to speculate on the US dates.
