do you think disney will discount because of a reccesion

NO!!!!!

My husband works in finance- it's not a recession EVERYWHERE. In fact foreigners (those from outside US) are experiencing a very strong exchange value with the US dollar right now.

So, all in all, Disney will not be looking to discount unless attendance drops drastically over a period of several years IMO.

I find this thread interesting as one of my friend are at Disney right now. She was down there for her daughters dancing championship that was this past weekend and they stayed over.

She really only had one day at the parks (due to time) and she is not a seasoned Disney traveler at all (2nd trip there). I tried to give her help if she asked. She told me on the phone Sunday night that she went to Epcot at 9am on Saturday morning as her daughter was performing at noon there. She said within 3 hours she had 5 attractions done? She was flabbergasted at how the parks were not busy at all. (for the record, 3 of the 5 she mentioned were Soarin, Test Track, and MS..not sure of the other 2) I can't recall ever walking into Epcot at 9am and having 5 things done by noon? :confused3and I have been at least 15 to 20 times. I found this quite interesting. I too will be there on June 11....I will be sure and take note of the crowds....should be interesting.

:)
