Of course you didn't. You're always right. I'm always wrong. Pardon. My mistake.

But your comment makes no sense. If Disney is trying to entice people to get offline and enjoy their vacations (which is my contention -- not something I can prove, but what I think could possibly be, in my opinion, the reasoning), what's the biggest incentive to KEEP you offline? Charging you. If it was free, you'd be hooked up from the second you stepped on property. If they WANTED you online, they'd give it to you for free. If they are trying to tempt you to "disconnect" for your vacation, they charge you to get on the computer, thereby making it less attractive.OMG, so Disney cares about me going out there and not wasting my time online but if I want to do so it charges me, right? C'mon, who is creating arguments after all.

WOW! Sounds like fun! We'll miss you here, while you're enjoying yourself at Disney!Just pack any new outfits that your purchased during the beginning of summer. I guess you don't have a car huh? I was going to tell you to run over to the PRIME OUTLET"S across from DTD. They have great deals on Disney merchandise, and reasonable pricing on clothes! Love their coach outlet too!
Sheesh, you can't get any ADR's!? With if you change the times? Keep calling because there could be some cancelations! How long are you going for?

Well of course it's a "way to separate us from our money." Of course it's spin. I didn't say it wasn't. I think I may have even said that it was kind of silly and that they'd likely be changing that soon anyway, since they have all these online apps now, that no one can get to, and that kind of defeats the purpose.HAHAHAHA
....and the airlines charge to check luggage because they are worried about us picking up too many pieces of luggage on our holidays.....we may hurt our backs!
A fee, is a fee, is a fee......no matter how you paint it. It's a way to "separate us from our money".....as my friend said after returning from his first WDW trip.
Pure spin!
I am not wearing Disney clothes, lol but I may buy myself some Disney crocs or something because my 2 pairs of BCBGs really uncomfortable for the whole day of walking.
We will be there 9/2 - 9/10. I have so far Ohana ADR but not on a day I wanted and to be honest I am questioning if I want to spend $150(with tip) for 3 of us for that. I am online all the time hunting ADRs, wanted to get CG, only extremely late ADRs like 9:30 PM is available, do not need it. I will try to just walk to Tokio Dining if no result we may try Kimonos. On a bright side, less money spend on TS meals, more money left in pocket.![]()

Example. Disney WANTS you to stay on property and never leave. Their incentive for this is FREE Magical Express and FREE bus service, since you are far less likely to leave if you can't drive yourself anywhere. If Disney wanted you to rent cars or find alternate transportation, they'd charge you for ME and the busses and start competing at that level. The disincentive for bringing your own vehicle is to offer you the same services for free.
Does that make more sense?

I'm sorry but I believe that your statement about internet makes no sence. I do not feel Disney makes it better for me, I and many otheres do not plan to stay online all the time while on vacation but for many of us it is important to have internet connection for many reasons. And knowing that Disney is happy to charge us. Sounds like you can find answer for any Disney inconvenience but it does not work well.

Why does anyone need wifi while in WDW you are on vacation. (unless you own a business I guess)

LOL! No, I don't wear Disney clothes either, LOL! I meant that they (the Prime Outlets) have great prices on clothes. I guess I'm slooooooooowwww this morning, but didn't you say you were doing free dining? Why do you have to pay the $150? I think I'm missing something! LOL!
If you go to Kimono's try to get that $25.00 certificate at Restaurants dot com. It will only cost you $2.
I'm sure you'll have a blast!
Wish I was going!![]()
Croc-aholic here! I actually saw my winter/fuzzy crocs in the closet last week and thought....ahhhhhh, new season soon.....back to my FAVORITE crocs.
Don't give up! We often have good luck when we call for ADR's the same day. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your good luck!
Have a GREAT trip!
No way getting DP, I cannot find that many TS places I actually want to visit, lol. Ohana is $36 per person, plus tax, plus tip, maybe alittle bit less then $150 (I rounded) but still a lot.
Prime Outlets would be a heaven for me, I love shopping but getting cab there will probably eliminate savings, lol.
If I sign for Restaurants now, any chance I can get coupon right away or they mail it to me?

Restaurant.com emails you the certificate. ALL the places at Swan and Dolphin are on there as well as some DTD.
I was surprised to find them last week.
