Do you think AAA rates will get better in Feb?

I got my AAA magazine the other day and there was an ad announcing that Feb is Universal month they have some specials with pricing listed but its not for onsite hotels but it does say the option to upgrade to one is there. Soooo my question is are the rates better in Feb? It has something listed about staying 3-4 nights and you get $50 in Universal cash and 5+ nights gets you $100 Universal cash if you book in feb and travel before 12/30/09. Should I wait till Feb or book now. We are looking at going 12/19-12/26 with either it all RPR club level or 2 nights at the Nick hotel, for the kids, and the rest RPR club level.

Unless you are booking a package, you should be able to get your rates changed if they go down. Make sure you confirm this before you book.

Does the AAA rate ever beat the SS rate? I have club level booked for the end of Feb right now with the SS rate? Should I call to see if the AAA rate is better or is SS beat them all?

AAA doesn't even come close to my supersaver rate for this Feb. I have seen annual pass rates lower than supersaver rates but AAA doesn't usually go lower. If it does it is marginally.

i have never seen the AAA rate beat SS prices.


i usually book with AAA rate and then switch to the SS rate when it comes out.

Ok so what is the SS rate and when does that come out? I guess the better question is will it ever be available for Christmas?

I am just doing hotel since I bought my tickets months ago through AAA before the rate increase.

I had a SS this Christmas of $126 at RPR but I didn't get that rate until a month before our trip. I think I checked on a regular basis too. A couple times a week.

Wow! That is an incredible rate!!! I don't think I've seen rates that low since the special rates for the opening year.

And remember, if you book through AAA they are the ones who would have to call for you to change your ressie. Even though you are the one paying the bill, Uni agents will only change things for the booking agent.

Better off to book it yourself using whatever discount is out there so you can keep checking and changing it yourself if the rate drops.
