Do you talk on the phone to your spouse or siginficant other everyday while at work?

Curious how many people talk on the phone to there spouses at at work everyday?

I know DH & I don't call each other at work unless it's for a particular reason. Not to just shoot the breeze. Some of the ladies at work are surprised we don't talk to each other everyday on the phone. I tell them DH & I talk when we get home at dinner. Then we can talk for a long time.

there are days when i just need to hear his voice...so i'll call him for no reason. otherwise, we IM each other throughout the day!

No. I am in a classroom all day with Kindergarteners. The only time we receive phone calls is in case of an emergency.

We usually check in at some point towards the end of the day to confirm arrangements to pick up DS or dinner plans. Other than that we only talk or aim if we have a quick question. rarely call to chitchat.

We both have desk jobs to it's easy to talk - and we do several times a day. We email too.

We call and e-mail during the day. We both have offices so it's no problem.

BUT dh is a territory manager so is by himself most of the time. When he is in a meeting he turns his phone off. When he's just driving between calls or whatever we talk often

Yup. Both when I worked in an office & now that I work at home. We call each other at least 2-3 times a day.

We only talk if there is something urgent to discuss. Both of us work with patients so it is hard to tell if the other if available.

No. I don't talk to anyone while I'm working. Well, except the clients in my chair.

We talk everyday at least once usually at lunchtime and then sometimes DH calls to tell me which train he's on. With cell phones it's free!

We also sometimes do email instead or as well.

I leave my IM on all day and that is our basic form of communication. Then, if we need to talk..one of us will call the other.

We have Nextels so we "2 way" each other whenever, If he's busy he just asks if he can call me back. He just recently got a promotion and a laptop so we email each other too. It soothes our nerves when we talk to each other.

I just thought I haven't even called him today but yes usually quite a few times per day. Hes a manager so has his own cell phone with him all the time and hes usually alone so we talk usually quite a few times per day, but not today.

Yes everyday, but a lot of the time it is business, but we do check in with each other daily, just to let the other know we love them. Never know when it might be the last time they hear it, kwim?

Yep, we talk everyday. I'm a SAHM and he'll call to ask me to do this or that for him or I'll call just to see how his day is going. I'm usually the one to do the calling and I *try* to catch him when he's at lunch. If I don't call him then he wonders what's up. Sometimes we also talk at the end of his day, but that conversation usually involves me having something ready for him to eat as soon as he walks in the door.

Yes - at least once or twice a day just to check in and say Hi - Thinking about you - and I Love You.... even after 20+ years.
My DH is a Deputy Sheriff, so I worry if I don't hear from him at least once during the day. I spend a lot of time on telecons, so if I don't answer - he just leaves a message 'Tag, you're it!'
