Do you talk in circles?

My SIL tells me the hardest thing she did when she first got around my mom and me was figuring out how we can carry on 5-6 conversations at once (just the 2 of us talking, and trying to include her in some too). 14 1/2 years later, she doesn't know how to stop carrying on 5-6 conversations at once. My SO says it's very annoying to listen to us.

Yes! When you have 15 short minutes to catch up with three people on breaks at work. We wonder how we do it too.... We call it, "multi-talking."

It's just like what DisneyMagicTravis described. We can have a 30 minute conversation in about 5 minutes and know exactly what's been said. My SIL used to say she got whiplash watching us talk during our conversations.

I come from a family of circle talker. All of our inlaws tell us that they know they are a part of our family, is when they understand what we are talking about!

Hey I can do this too. I think it may have something to do with being the oldest of 8 and trying to fit a lot in in a small amount of time. Drives DH nuts, lol!

That might be where my mom learned to talk in circles. She's the 3rd oldest of 8.

My DH's family does this. I've gotten better at it over the years but mostly I just listen.

My sis and I are really good at this. Sometimes we don't have to say a word and we know what each other is thinking.

I do a lot of "circle talking" when I'm instant messangering people too.
