DISers do or don't respond to your posts. Just started a new post of couple of hours ago and I find myself checking every few minutes to see if there are any new views or responses. And I'm really disappointed if there's no change. How pathetic is it that I really want that view count to go up and that I am so much looking forward to new responses? Anyone else react this way? Either I tremendously value the opinions of my DIS friends or I really need to get a life !!!! Please tell me I'm not alone.

I check some posts often if it's something I'm looking for a response on, such as right now I have a post or 2 on the transportation board asking questions and wanting to weigh as many opinions as possible.

I don't think it's odd to value the opinions of the people on here. The DIS is good people.

I did when I was new to CB; but now it doesn't bother me now. I've learned to just go with the flow! Sometimes I do get a little disappointed, though!

Yep..I get upset with it...I feel like my opinion just got glossed over. BUT then I post something and get a nasty response and then my feelings get hurt! Oh well...
