Do you take bedding to DVC?

I'm still not sure what to do. First stay at BLT in a 1BR, there were no sheets for the pullout couch. Found some on the day bed, but the quality of the single blanket wasn't great. (It had small tears, and didn't seem that fresh.)
Next stay in a BLT studio, there wasn't anything at all for the pullout sofabed -- we called the front desk and a fully laundered zipped plastic bag was sent with fresh sheets and blanket.
Last stay at Kidani studio, everything was there (thank goodness, since we checked in at 2 a.m.!) and in good condition.
But generally, I'm not that pleased with the bedding that's provided, especially in studios where we can all imagine that the pullout sofas are getting regular use.

What do you do? What do you bring?

I just wish they had the correct size bedding. Our twin sized sleeper chair has a queen sized mattress pad, queen sized blanket, queen sized sheets. Our king sized bed has a queen sized blanket turned the wrong way on it (turning it the correct way means it isn't wide enough).

But all the sheets for the sleeper sofa and sleeper chair were good quality. I've never really cared for the blankets (and I hate those duvets more than blankets and bedspreads - they are too heavy as a blanket unless you are in the dead of winter with no heat).

All the sheets and blankets and pillows were in the closet.

I bring a pillow and that is it. I wish they had fitted sheets but I am not hauling anymore stuff with me.

If you don't have the sheets for your sofa, then call and have them bring them. They are usually in the closet.

I love the blankets at SSR so much, I bought one.

We often bring some light blankets.

Question: Do they only wash the sheets between each guest visit, or do they also wash the blankets?

I recall hearing that hotels generally don't wash the bedspreads. That grosses me out!

I have 2 sheet sets and 2 fleece blankets in my Owner's Locker!:thumbsup2

Disney claims that they wash all bed covers between guests. I have never witnessed a housekeeper removing the load that would come from piling on the comforters and blankets, which makes me skeptical. The comforters come off, are folded and put in a closet as soon as we're in the room. Even if a bit worn (indicating lots of washing), the blankets always smell clean so we use them.

Sheets are changed between, guests. Blankets as needed, washed about once every guest change.

Comforters/bedspreads are laundred once a month, unless there is a need to sooner.
