Do you take a change of clothes?

Hi all,

We visited US/IOA in October and got so wet on Ripsaw Falls and Bilge Rat Barges that we may as well have jumped into a pool fully clothed. 5 hours later at Margaritaville I was still damp, and I wore thin/lightweight clothes on purpose.

For our next visit I'm thinking of taking a change of clothing, how many of you do this?

If so do you just keep them in you park bag (a vest top and shorts would take up less room than a poncho) or do you put them in a locker (assuming they have lockers at US other than jsut the ones for rides)?

I've heard of other people doing this and it's a good idea if you plan to ride the Bilge Rat Barges. We were also drenched last year! It gets a little chilly if you try to eat in a restaurant.

There are lockers available for day use.

Thankfully we stay on-site so we can go back and change. That being said, we do rent a locker for the day at IOA (they are to the left after going through the turnstiles). We take a change of shoes and a few towels. I actually bought a pair of shirts and a tank top that are bathing suit material and they work really well. Our daughter wears water shorts and a bathing suit top with a tank over it. Hubby and son wear their bathing suits (they have nice plaid ones that look like shorts) and a matching tee shirt. We do every thing else that we want to do and then head back to the locker. We all change our shoes and put on flip flops or slip on sandals and also lock anything else that we don't want to carry. We do the wet things and then head back to the locker and then back to the hotel. We used to just go for the day to IOA and then would have to head back to Disney all wet. This is one of the reasons, along with the unlimited express pass, that we now stay on-site before heading to Disney.

If we intend to stay for the rest of the day, we take a change of t-shirt and shorts or wear swim shorts. In the summer it doesn't matter, though.

Has anyone tried the "people dryer" that's outside the ride ? We were heading back to the hotel so we didn't bother. It looked fun.

I was just there on Friday and my husband and I took a change of clothes. We always take a change of clothes if we're going to be riding the water rides.
