Hello to all my new Disboard friends. I think I have a problem.:scared1:

I am suffering from Post Disney Disorder or PDD.::MickeyMo

I am looking for a support group and if you know of one please contact me ASAP.

Some symptoms I have experienced are....

1. A constant ringing in the ears to the tune of "Its a Small World"

2. Feeling naked in public without wearing Mouse Ears or a Tiarra:earboy2:

3. Looking for Hidden Mickey's in Wall Paper Patterns

4. Telling everyone I meet to "Have a Magical Day":tink:

5. Asking directions to the "Fast Pass" machine for the checkout line at Wal-Mart

6. Insisting on taking the Monorail to work/school

7. Trying to refill my AllStar resorts mug at Sheetz and 7-11:coffee:

I am currently trying to arrange some kind of fundraiser or a telethon. If you have experienced something that you feel may be a symptom of PDD please contact me to have your problem added to the list. Thank You!!:grouphug:

Thank You for your support of PDD research!

I'm with you, I have been home a month and still can't shake it. Writing a trip report helps, I recommend it. But now with that over and our next trip over a year away, well I don't know what to do.

I drink my coffee in my Pop refillable mug each day, that seems to help! :surfweb:

I wore my Pirate Princess Tiara all the way home on Tuesday. I wanted to wear it to work but, I didnt think it would go over too well. I work in a dental office and many of my patients think we are pirates already!pirate:

Had to take a break from cleaning the palace and curious about what PDD stood for.....well I guessed before I looked and I was right!! :cool1: I feel for you....really........I know what you are going through although it has been Feb06 since our last trip and this time last year, I remember anticipating!!
Bye for now,
Not suffering but longing for another trip,
Cinderellie gotta get back to cleaning the palace
TTFN and TGIF!!!

We came home a month today :sad1: and I definitely know those symptoms. I had to laugh at #5 - our Wal-mart has a do it yourself counter. Kind of like Fast Pass  I also had to laugh at finding Hidden Mickeys. I once found one in oil stains in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot. Yea, I defintely have PDD

No... I'm still suffered from Post Disney Depression. :( It appears to alleviate symptoms if you neglect the housework in favor of the Dis boards and planning the next trip!

PDD (in the non Disney World) stands for Pervasive Development Disorder and has something to do with autism. Like 5 minutes ago a friend posted on another board that her DD6 has PDD NOS. Just an FYI.

Sorry, I did not intend to offend anyone. Just trying to adjust to the REAL WORLD again. :guilty:

Oh no that's ok! I'm not offended in the least! :goodvibes Just wanted to let you know there actually was something called PDD. It was weird because I literally just found out about it. I totally understand the Post Disney Blues. The day I get home I start to plan for the next trip being the obsessive planner that I am. Disney is an addiction.

Sign me up. I need help, too! :sad2: I wanna go back to WDW! :sad1:
