Just curious. I took a Pilates class a few weeks ago and he just kept stressing over and over again about pulling your abs in towards your spine. He is a huge guy with lots of muscles and he did a demonstration. He said that he chooses to look that way. And then he let his stomach out and he had a huge stomach....he said I do not choose to look this way. So my question is, do you suck your abs in when your standing and walking? It's hard for me to remember to do it. I also remember hearing a long time ago that by sucking your abs in, your giving your abs a workout.....don't know if it's true or not.
I find that when I do, my posture is better, abs get stronger, and my back hurts when I don't.
