Just curious how many people actually utilize the space under the beds and store their luggage under there?

It depends on the resort. I usually do but in older rooms like at BC I remember stashing them on the luggage rack in the closet.

Yes, absolutely. I love that there is space to stash luggage and any other bulky items out of the way.

Sometimes but not always - depends on the room type I have - often lately if I have connecting door I’m not using we just leave it there in front of the door
Or you could be my DD and leave it open in the middle of the room nonstop because she doesn’t unpack for the 10 plus days we are there and “she’s using it” so we all get to enjoy that !! 🤣🤣

Some rooms have platform beds, and the platform reaches all the way to the floor. You can't store anything under them. I believe BCV studio was like this.

I totally unpack but put my luggage in the closet. I travel solo a lot so there is plenty of room in the closet. If I'm with my son he doesn't unpack so still plenty of room in the closet.

I am a huge fan of packing cubes so I can easily unpack into the dresser and store the luggage away. I read somewhere on here about taking a pop up hampers that hooks over the door and that was a major game changer. Every couple of days I would take things out and move them into the suitcases. My room has never felt so clean and that was with 2 toddlers. I now use this method on every trip at and outside of WDW,

I unpack and store my luggage under the bed. DD lives out of her luggage and uses the luggage rack.

We bring a pop up hamper and all dirty clothes goes in the hamper.

I skip the hamper and put it right back into the suitcase once worn. Makes it even neater than a hamper hanging over a door (which can damage a door).

I see your point. We've hung it on the closet dowel with no issues. I'm just too big of a bum at the end of a park day to do much more than toss stuff into a hamper. Kuddos to you for being on top of it!!

I hang up our clothes and keep other items in packing cubes. Dirty clothes go in a bag in my suitcase. Suitcase goes on luggage rack.

I’m also a packing cube person. They get put in the drawers and dresses get hung up in the closet. I have Away luggage and their suitcases come with laundry bags that snap right into them, so dirty clothes go in those as I go. I was going to see about hooking them on the doors with carabiners next time to make it even easier.

Oh, I don't fold the dirty stuff until the last day. It just gets tossed in the suitcase under the bed - unless it's damp from sweat or rain when I'll hang it over something and in goes in the suitcase in the morning.

Why would you not if they rooms have the elevated beds? That is why they put the space there - to free up space in the closet and the rest of the room.
1) I don't trust Disney to clean inside drawers so I don't unpack and

2) If I don't trust them to clean the drawers, I sure don't trust them to clean under the bed. Especially now that there's no carpet.
