We don't. We either use the free bill pay through our bank or have the company do a direct withdraw from our bank account or charge to credit card.

We also don't get a paper copy of any of our bills. Everything is electronic.

I have my paycheck automatically deposited, arrange for all of my bills to be paid through my bank's website and get all credit card and bank statements electronically. I use my debit card to pay for everything and don't even carry cash anymore. I love it! Everything is so easy and convenient and quick.

I'm trying to convince my boss to do that, she still pays her bills, gets her statements and does everything through the mail. It wasn't util the last 6 months or so that I showed her how to access her bank account online. Whenever she needed info, she would call the branch or run over there. I think I'm wearing her down, though.

We do the same as you. One day the system will fail and we'll all be screwed. A couple of days ago my bank had a system-wide failure that they anticipated would last an hour. It lasted many hours and still having sporadic problems as of last night.

When I called to ask for my balance and was told it wasn't just me and just online it was system-wide and no information could be obtained I was like this.:confused3:headache::mad::sad2: It sure did put a monkey wrench in what I was doing that day.

Occasionally I have issues with online banking, electronic paying and all that relates and I have to make a phone call, the wait times seem nuts! But mostly and overall it has saved me time.

I don't even have cheques anymore. DH pay is direct deposited, and I pay all the bills online. I only have two e-bills though. I very rarely carry cash anymore, maybe a few dollars but nothing substantial, I use my bank card. It causes logistical problems when businesses don't use interac or credit card. I'm ready for a cash-less society :thumbsup2

I write checks....I'm with kimmar....love using my Disney checks :rotfl:

I work for a paper company so yes, I still write checks to pay most of my bills and I request a paper copy of ALL bills whether I pay them online or not.

I write one check a month. Everything else gets paid electronically. Our town does not have electronic payments for sewer/trash so that's the check that gets written.

Only to the lawn guy...as he's not set up for direct payment
gives me a reason to keep ordering the national geographic checks (yes i'm a dork)

I am half and half, maybe. Some I write checks for some I pay online. Depends on the bill!

We were talking about this at work last night. I figured it out that I only write 4 checks each month - rent, 2 car payments, loan payment. Everything else is electronic.

We write very few cks. DH's pension and our SS's are auto deposit, and we like the convenience of paying bills online. :thumbsup2

I pay some bills electronically, some by CC payment and then a few buy check. If my bank can't verify the account then I have to send a check.

Yes, I pay some of my bills by check. (Disney checks, of course!) I hate having to remember different passwords just to pay a bill. So I pay the store charge cards by check, the Visa over the internet.

We've got the direct deposit and most of my bills are paid through my banks automatic bill pay. I still get paper copies of the credit card statement be cause of previous billing issues. We only write a few checks a month and a box of (Disney) checks will last us about a year.

I only use them to pay rent now. It'll take years to go through the entire box (St. Louis Cardinals checks). I still carry my checkbook with me, though, in case I forget my debit card in a different purse or something.

I do a few bills by check. Random ones like the hospital bills and our rent. Electric, cable and credit cards are done electronically automatically. I still call and do the cell phone over the phone for some reason!
