Do you still use your old cameras?

My wife uses my Olympus super-zoom, and I also have a Nikkormat FTn 35mm film camera (completely manual) with a 50mm f/1.4 lens (see why I love the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 so much?). Its meter needs calibration or something, so I should probably get that fixed sometime. I bought the FTn off of eBay; my dad has the same camera with a 50mm and a longer lens (not sure how long, also prime).

My first digital camera was an HP Photosmart 315

Still use it from time to time, as I keep it in the car. Image quality isn't horrible, the 2.1 megapixels don't provide for a huge printable images but the pictures look alright on a computer monitor. None of our film cameras are in working order anymore, sadly.

Still have my Nikon FM2 and N70 in mint condition. Just can't bring myself to sell them even though I may never use them again.

My Pentax K1000 is 28 years old and wore out two years ago. It's displayed on my mantel in my den. My husband gave it to me as a high school graduation gift.
Okay, throw me in th sentimental category!

I dont know if the camera is beyond repair but if you are intrested I strongly recommend Eric for repairs. http://pentaxs.com/index.html

I have had him repair my Spotmatic and my ME along with a couple of my Takumar lens he will quote you a price once he gets the camera that you can either accept or reject. That is if you are intrested in trying to get it working again

I still use my K1000 on occasion and have acquired some other film cameras that I occasionally use. (I have a nice film scanner so I can get the images in high-quality digital form without too much bother.)

I've sold the cameras that I really don't think that I'm going to use anymore... currently our digitals are my wife's old Minolta X2 (used by my son), Fuji F40d (wife's pocket camera), K100D (wife's DSLR and I will keep it around when she eventually going to a K-x or similar), and... oh, wait, the rest I'm going to put in a new thread. ;)

So yeah - my order of preference is to use 'em, hand 'em down, or sell 'em.

I do have a small collection of film SLRs that will probably never see use... like another K1000 and a second Spotmatic that was a garage sale find and an H3 that has a sticky aperture open lever. Oh, and a Yashica rangefinder with various seized parts. They all look nice on the shelf. :)

I'll start with my Polaroid SX-70 land camera. It still works when I can find the film. I also have the stobe for it. I then picked up a 2nd hand Yashica FX-7 SLR which still takes great pictures. Then there was a Kodak disc camera, an advantix, a sony mavica, 2 olympus digital zooms, a Pentax ZX-7 followed up by a Pentax K200D. Then their are the cameras for my wife and kids. So, I keep them all................
