Do you still live in the town/state where you grew up?

I was born in Kansas City, MO, but we lived in Kansas City, KS. My dad took a job at the University of Oklahoma when I was 6. That was about 35 years ago. I've lived in Norman ever since, even when I went to college.

We live about 2 1/2 miles from the house where I grew up and my mother still lives there.

I live in the same state but about 3 hours away from the town... my stepfather was transferred to Springfield when I was 10 been here ever since (except college-went north to Normal) so now I consider this my "hometown"!!

I was born in Crete, Illinois. Now I live in Wisconsin.

Yep. My kids went to/go to the same Catholic grammar school I went to. (Of course it was new then ;))

Funny... But this is as close to living near where I was born as I've ever been (since we left when I was a year old). In between though I've been in almost every part of the country. Texas is HOME!

I grew up on the North Shore of Boston but moved to the South Shore approximately 12 years ago. South Shore is much prettier than the North Shore!! Okay, I'm sure I'll start a debate (with others from North/South Shore) with this one! LOL!! Annmarie

MA all my life. But I've lived in 3 towns (Blackstone, Worcester & Oxford).

I live in the same state, one town over from where I grew up. I am about a 10 minute drive from my parents' house.

Same state..
Live about 25 minutes from hometown..:)

DH and I were both born in California......got married there, graduated from college and then moved to Washington state. Been here for the past 25 years.

Born in California, raised in Oregon, went to college and lived my entire adult life in Washington State. Now dh wants to move and I don't want to leave the West Coast! WAAAH!

Native Atlantan.....still here.....:D

I was born and raised here in Woburn, MA. I got married at 23 and moved to DH's house in Melrose, MA(about 15-20 minutes away). After about 4 years there, we found our dream home being built in Woburn, just 1/2 mile around the corner from my parents house(where I lived previously). I havent gone very far. ;)

About 40 miles away. I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, went to college in New York, then went to Europe to live for a couple of years after college. Came home to Baltimore, then went to Cancun, Mexico where I lived for a year, came back to Baltimore, landed jobs in Washington, D.C., where I now live. Its nice being near my hometown and all my old friends. :)

No thank goodness...

My parents and sister still live in that small one street town in rural NJ.

The town is so small minded, I aM so glad to gotten out of there...

To quote Tracy Chapman I got a Fast car and kept on driving...

I live in the same state, the same city, the same suburb, the same street, the same house, and the same bedroom that I grew up in!
DH and I bought the house my parents owned and my mom lives with us.

I did live in a different part of the city when I first left home some 25 years ago, but I've been back here about 14 years.
It's kinda neat to still run into people you went to high school with.

I do plan on going south when we retire though.
