No, but actually, my parents didnt even live in the state I was born, lol. My mom didnt want me born on the military base after a bad experience and had my df drive across the state line which wasnt far.
Me, too! But I'm only in my mid-twenties. I don't see myself moving out of this town anytime in the near future. If I do, it won't be far. I feel like in my age demographic it's "uncool" to want to stay around where you grew up. I don't get that mindset. But I have always been a homebody and very much like the familiar.
Yes, and you can pry me away when I'm cold and dead! I wouldn't live in the same PART of LA that I was raised in, but I love my big city so much. I'm a Westside girl to my core.
Nope. Was born in and spent the first 19 years of my life in Maryland, and the past 11 in Florida, with Panama, Spain, Peru, Turkey, England, Indonesia, Cote d'Ivoire, the Philippines, and Germany in between.
No, I was born in Virginia but I lived in states all up and down the East Coast. I was 11 when we moved to Mississippi and I clearly remember crossing from SC into north GA. It was late in the afternoon and the red clay on the roadsides was brilliantly reflecting the sun, making everything kind of glow. I remember telling my mom that someday I was going to go live in Georgia because it was so beautiful. She laughed at me, like parents will do. But when DH and I married 13 years later, we moved straight up to north Georgia. Who's laughing now?
