Agreed. I think the last year was 2014 as we didn't have it in 2015.
The old location was between the two big gift shops.

When I booked mine for this December I was told Disney no longer offers this reserved seating section.

Do you need to get an FP for Illuminations if you are doing CP? I know CP finishes right before Illuminations starts so a little worried we may not have time to find a good spot on our own.

You will have at least 30 minutes between the ending of the last CP and the start of IllumiNations.
