Do you still get free entry on your birthday?

Just wondering if there is still free entry or FP or GC on your birthday? Or is the GAD the only offer they currently have (had). I never contemplated that we would be able to go near one of our birthdays but thats what we are now shooting for (mid November). TIA.

Free entry on your birthday has ended. GAD isn't even happening any longer. You can still use tickets from it if you've already performed your community service part.

Yeah, thats what I thought but they still ask what are you celebrating when you plan a trip on the WDW site. So if I have this correct they have a "promotion" for people who are celebrating different things but they don't actually do anything special for them anymore?

Correct. They may give you a button/pin with your celebration on it and some well wishes from cast members scattered about but don't set your hopes for anything more. You may get some extra pixie dust here and there but nothing is guaranteed anymore.
