do you still commando?

We're planners but not commando once we arrive. We usually make a couple PSs and have a rough idea of which park on which day but we're flexible and frequently change our minds.

We commando from 8am to 1130 for 2 or 3 days of our trip -- until lines form. Then we eat and decide what to do. Usually my wife goes to the resort, and I stay with the kids that want to stay in the park for another couple hours.

Afternoons, evenings and the other 3 or 4 days are not commando.

I do make several PS but we cancel half of them because we decide to do something else.

The best thing about owning DVC is no more commando. We do organize if we have new people with us, but our own trips are about "cherry picking" new attractions and favorites. The only plan is for special things like House of Blues Gospel Brunch, La Nouba, and which evening fireworks we want to see. It's a real vacation now and we come home rested instead of ready for a vacation!
