Do you stay in touch?

Before I got on Facebook I would send pictures of fun stuff to people I thought would like it. Yes, sometimes it'd be stuff to make them jealous I'm on vacation and they aren't. Now that I'm on Facebook I just post those pictures there.

That is so my husband lol

Before cell phones my friends and family knew where and when vacations where happening.

With cell phones I use it when I want and enjoy it.

Most of what I text or post has no real importance or emergency factors, just for pure pleasure.

As I post this from the top of a mountain sitting around a camp fire drinking coffee. Mmm sweet freedom from house work and demanding guest at work awww, the coffee taste better

The only people we stay in-touch with when we are on vacation is our parents.

Our neighbors take care of our house while we are away - bring in the mail, feed the cats, water the garden. They usually send us text updates while we are away and we respond.

DH & I do not stay in touch with anyone except if we are gone for more than 3 days we check in with the dog sitter. DD's keep in touch with their friends via text/instagram

I don't call or text my friends weekly anyway, so I don't make a point to text them when on vacation. If they text me I'll reply, and they usually say "you're at Disney AGAIN??" :lmao: I usually call my mom about 1/2 through.

I like to post pics on FB because my parents like to see what we're doing. I don't worry too much about people breaking in. My FB friend list is very small, about 150 people. Plus we have a security system.
