Do you sneak food into the theater?

Yup, smuggling candy is fine in my book. But we recently went to a theater in Utah that checked women's purses/pocketbooks.

I don't get to the movies that often and so when I do, I splurge and get my popcorn and drinks there. Sometimes I might get nachos. Not really a candy eater at movies so don't really think about sneaking that in. Our theatre is pretty strict. I haven't seen them search bags when you go in, but they pretty aggressively patrol the theaters during the movie. I'm sure they are looking for contraband! I've seen them take food away from people during the movie before...so I would be scared to sneak anything to be honest. It would be my luck to get thrown out over a bottle of water. Plus my DH loves movie theater popcorn. Since we don't get out much now with the baby, he will sometimes drive to the theater and get the popcorn "to go" and we watch movies at home.

We bring in candy if we want candy... but always get popcorn and soda if we had candy or not.

Actually movie theatres and vacations are about the only times I have soda

I love movie popcorn so I will buy that, but I have also had a box of candy in my purse sometimes.

Nope, I can manage to sit through a movie without sustenance. It's my wicked awesome super power ;-)

I love movie popcorn so I usually have that if I have anything at all. Usually I just buy a bottle of water.

I HAVE smuggled in a sandwich now and again if I'm seeing a movie at lunchtime...sorry, but I'm not going to pay $8 for a nasty fastfood hotdog or plastic cheese nachos.
