Do you sing songs in stores?

I didn't realize I was singing a song outloud until I saw someone coming down the aisle I was in. I really need to stop listening to the music they play over the loud speakers.

Sometimes I'll be humming away in the grocery store and not even realize it until I walk past someone. I actually just realized lately that I hum a lot without knowing it.

It's even worse when you get caught singing "kids" songs... and my youngest is almost 9! (Darn that purple dinosaur anyway!)

I hate it when I see apples and bananas together or I start singing a song that purple dinosaur taught me, I mean, my daughter.

Yeah, I'll admit it's a habit of mine. I used to work in a store where they played the same totally random collection of songs in rotation, and after 7 years of it, I knew every single word to every single one. And when I say random, I assure you - they were completely random, oldies and pop, good stuff and bad....totally random. More often than not my co-workers would locate me by following the voice...


Of course, now I work in an office where we have the radio on constantly. I still do the singing though...except now I like to think of them as performances. I like to call them my American Ky-dol moments. I totally think I should be getting a raise for my entertainment....

I like to sing a lot! I even sing when I am taking a shower! But I really love to sing in the car with the radio!

You know, those videos they play at TDS are only about a half hour long. If you work an 8 hour shift, you have time to learn all the dance routines on them and everything. Then when a particularly good one comes on, all the castmembers can dance in the middle of the store...

happened ALL THE TIME when I worked there...and half the time you don't even realize it until someone laughs at you...

I sing all the time with the music on the speakers--but usually only in grocery stores. I can't help myself--it just comes out. I try to just belt it out and force everyone to listen--but if you drive by my cart--you WILL be subjected to my singing.

The only time I'll sing is in the car or at home. I can't carry a tune to save my life and as someone who sits next to a "singer" at work, it drives me absolutely crazy!

I sing in my head! I'm the only one who wants to hear me sing anyways. I consider it my gift to the world.

I sing in stores but I especially like to sing my heart out in the car! DD is following in her mom's footsteps! She even dances in the aisles!!
