GUILTY (again) !!

Heck yeah, I sing in the car...and no...i don't stop if someone pulls up next to me...they should consider themselves i fortunate don't ask them to dance!

Now, there are a few songs...like Van Halen's "JUMP" ...that me and some Grandkids who are sitting in the back seat have done our own arrangement to...

somebody pulls up next to us....and see us singing....they usually start edging through the light when we sing...

I always sing in my car if I like the song! I usually only do it when I'm alone, or when I'm with my sister and the both of us are singing loud. And of course I stop singing when people pull up next to me, otherwise I'd feel silly.

Which is very embarassing,

especially because I drive a sunfire convertible,

and ESPECIALLY because I sound like a cross between Big Bird and Grover,

and the leapord skin print steering wheel and leapord funny dice probably don't help either.

I don't JUST sing. If it's a song I really like, I'm dancing (well my top half anyway ), and banging on my steering wheel in time to the music. I'm a raving musical lunatic. And I really don't care who's in the car next to me. Life's WAY too short to worry about appearances.

It's very strange when my kids are in the car with me. I listen to lots of different kinds of music but I guess I've always had a heavy 80's emphasis. Lots of times, I'll change the station to an alternative rock station or current pop and my kids (14 & 10) will scream at me to put the 80's station back on! Cracks me up.

Just yesterday I was helping George Strait sing "Run." I think I could (Yeah right!!!) sing backup for him. Actually, my dream job would be to play steel guitar for George's Ace In The Hole band.

And yes, I quit when people pull up beside me!
