Do you shop at Sephora?

I love love love Sephora! I started shopping there when I was around thirteen, so I've never really able to use drugstore cosmetics. I am a make-up and skin care nut. =) I use Bare Escentuals foundation, bisque, mineral veil, warmth, and eyeshadow/glimmers; Dior mascara; benefit Georgia and Hula (when I'm not wearing BE stuff, which is actually most day because I don't really need all of it), BAD Gal and Gilded eyeliners, high beam, and sometimes one of their brown mascaras; Nars blush; smashbox brow powder; usually Sephora lipsticks and glosses, though I occasionally break out the TooFaced Lip Injection. I unfortunately live in a metropolitan area with easy access to two Sephora stores. Not good for the wallet...

ok. around how much do you spend in one shopping trip to sephora??;) i wanna know if what i spend in one trip is too high or not :)

I think I end up spending around $100 each time I go in. But, while I was on my lipgloss kick, I went to 3 or 4 different Sephoras in a span of 2 weeks. Yeah, not a good idea.

oh wait did i mention that already?! lol

hey all!

so sephora just came out with a new nail product! they ar pre-colored, pre designed strips that you can cut to fit your nails, then you rub them and the heat makes them conform to your nail precisly, i have not tried them yet, but i will. they come in different colors and designs. check it out online at sephora.com!

I love Sephora! I am a VIB. My favorites are the Bare Esscentuals foundations, the philosophy skincare line--retinoids, moisturizers, and sunblocks, smashbox concealers, lancome for eye makeup (love the artliner), and fekkai hair products--especially the glossing cream. I get my DH his skincare from them too. He uses clinique for face cleansing and moisturizing and art of shaving for, well, shaving! I have a Sephora near me but I usually shop online....free shipping and lots of free samples.

Ooh!! I love, love, love Sephora! Totally addicted to the Buxom lips, too!

Oh and you HAVE to try the smudgepots from Stila - they are so awesome! Great for summer!

I'll have to try the nail product... I do believe there is a Sephora trip in my near future. ;)

well you can order them online. it's $15.00 for likei think 63 strips.. or something like that.. i can't remember.. check it out online!! that's how i found out..anyhow they do hav them in the shop also!!

Fellow Sephora addict!! When I lived in NYC for 3 months, I thought I'd go broke since there was one on everywhere!!!

Luckily, now that I am at home, there is only one mall with a Sephora, So I only go if I need something. Although, once I'm in there...it's like going into a grocery store with the intention of getting just milk :rotfl:

I tried these the other day and I hated them. Sorry for the negative review, but hopefully this saves you some money!

1. None of the strips matched my nail width exactly, so EVERY single one of them needed to be cut.

2. It's very difficult to cut the strip to the exact with of your nail, much less the curved area where your cuticle meets the nail.

3. If you cut the strip a little wider than your nail, the strip digs into your skin and it's very uncomfortable . . . unless you have calluses on your hands . . . and girls who shop at Sephora usually don't have calluses on their hands :lmao:

4. The whole process took FOREVER and a day.

It's so much easier to just use the Japanese nail art stickers that you can apply right over your nail polish. Follow with a coat of gel-look gloss and you're set to go! (And the gel-look gloss protects the color, stickers, and any gems for more than two weeks!)

Wow, thanks for the review. I have these but from Avon and I love them. I think they are so convenient and work great. I haven't used them in awhile but I do have some left. Now I have to try them again and see why mine are so easy but you had such a hard time. I didn't have to cut anything. The excess came right off if it wasn't attached to my nail.

The only reason I haven't used them in a while is because I'm a creature of habbit. I like using Bubble Bath from OPI. :)

hmmm i wonder if you an just cut them just for tips? it didnt seem to hard to use from the directions...

I'm making a trip to Sephora tomorrow for these! They aren't cheap, but they are much cheaper than a Minx manicure.
I <3 Sephora, and I am a total fan of the product of the week.

Saying I LOVE Sephora is a gross understatement. Everytime I go in to the store, the associates are super nice and very helpful. I can't wait to go back; I already have my next pruchases lined up! !

I'm an Urban Decay girl, although they got the Tokidoki line at Sephora and it looks pretty cool. I'm mostly just an eye-makeup girl and some lipgloss. I make only one real trip a year and spend about 75. I sometimes make a stop if I'm out of something, but it takes me a while because certain times of the year I just get too lazy to put makeup on and I don't wear it to work.

LOVE Sephora......someone on another thread called it crack,

yup....Sehpora is my crack, actually I think that drugs might be less expensive than my makeup habit!

Lisa

I LOVE, Love, love Sephora!! It is on the other side of town so I rarely go, but when I do - watch out!! I just went Friday after work for one thing - and well, I won't tell you how much I spent!!

So a friend of mine just got me the OPI for sephora nail polish!! Wow! That stuff sure goes on nice and dries FAST! I love it! I got the Caribbean cocktail, that’s the color name.

i also think that if i an had a addiction to something else other then sephora THAT addiction would cost less then any one my shopping trips to sephora!

Another Sephora fan here! Philosophy and Smashbox are my favorite lines... :lovestruc
Me too. Plus I really, really like Tarte for their eyemakeup. There really is a big difference with the color intensity, quality from the drugstore stuff.

HEY LADIES!!!’

I just got a email from sephora. And it says that they have a limited offer ..Get the sephora collection Harmony Bronzer and brush for $30!! Online only..

Use this code at checkout: BRONZEDUO

Compliments of funball!!!
