Look for ideas on sites like 2 Peas. When you find ideas, save them to your computer or make a note.
First I sort my photos. Then I have a box with a lid and lots of 12 X 12 pieces of cardboard. I choose the papers that I like with each set of photos and put them on one piece of cardboard with notes, fibers, paper piecing patterns, etc. Then I stack the cardboard squares in the box.
When I want to scrap, I have all the items and ideas ready to go. When the empty cardboard stack starts to get big, I simply get more photos and reload. It's amazing how much faster you can work if you have all the materials and ideas together in advance. It also helps me when I go to the LSS. I make a list of all the things I'm missing for the current stack of "pages". It cuts down on the "I can't do this page until I go buy brown cardstock" times.
