I know I do. I tell my friends I love them all the time which I obviously mean. Sometimes even strangers kind of by habit. For example if someone really was helpful at a store I might tell them I love them. -_-
I sometimes may use a different form of it. If I know someone has seen Annie Hall I will tell them I lurve them. Online I use ily occasionally. I think I may have a problem haha.

So do you throw around the statement I love you?

I tell lots of people I love them. My friends, family, etc. I usually mean it, but sometimes I don't.

I used to care that so many people were using 'love' so casually, but then I started doing it, and I don't care. Then again, I'm not telling guys I 'love' them. It's not romantic love or anything.

I throw around 'love' all the time. I tell my friends and my family i love them...and even my guy friends sometimes, they know that i dont mean it literally. lol. I think love has been underestamated that or we all love WAY too many people. lol

im the opposite
i used to say it kinda frequently but now i just dont lol
ive turned into one of those people who cant show their true emotions towards peope
hopefully ill revert back to my regular self eventually lol

I pretty much only talk to my mom and matt on the phone. so when i hang up, i always say, "bye, love you!"

well yesterday my land lord called me, and i ALMOST said, "i love you" after "bye"

I only say "I love you" when I mean it. Never once have I said "I love you" and I didn't mean it.

I'll say it about things I love, like clothes, electronics, movies, etc.
And I'll say it to people too, like family, friends, and my boyfriend.

As long as I mean it, I'll say it..lol
Doesn't matter what it refers to.

I say it when i mean it.
I say it to my friends, and family, and people like that. but when i say it, i always mean it.

I say it to family and friends....and like Shelby said, its something I almost always say at the end of each conversation on the phone. It almost feels weird not to say it, and I did tell someone at the bank that I loved them! Holy cow...talk about embarassement! :rotfl2:

I barely ever say it. I say it to my parents and grandparents and my best friend. Otherwise, I dont say it because I think the term "love" is tossed around too much.

Randomly I'll say it to people who do something awesome or like something I like.
I usually say it to my friends when they're being awesome.
My best guy friend is the only friend who actually hears it a lot, and that's because I want him to know that no matter how bad of a friend I may seem, he still means a lot to me.

I say it a lot to my parents, even when it's actually so not necessary, but this is me making up for not saying it most of the time when I was little. I think I only started saying I love you before bed when I was like 13.

I basically always say it at the end of phone calls too, lol. I don't know, I just say it a lot. I tell my parents I love them like a million times a day, same for my friends.

I say I "love" things everyday.
When people say they love me, I say I love them back. Regardless of if I mean it or not. It was just the way I was brought up.
I basically "love" everything.
I say, "ohmygosh, I love potato chips" or "i love that show"
I use it too much, but I don't think it's a habit I'll ever break.

And when I was signing yearbooks all last week, I told everyone I loved them. But mainly just to my really close friends.

To me there's a difference between loving something (somebody) and being in love with something (somebody). I dunno. It's really hard to explain. There just is. Mind you, I have been up for 29 hours with no sleep so my logic is a little off right now.

But yes, I say I love things a lot. I tell John I love him and out of all the times I'll say it in a day, that's the one I mean that most. I tell my friends I love them. I don't usually tell my family, though. I dunno. My family's not the touchy-feely kind of family that tells each other that sort of stuff. It's assumed (or, given the fact that most of my family doesn't get along with the rest of my family, there's no need to say it).

I tell my best friend, family, and boyfriend I love them.

All day everyday, I like reminding them even though they already know.

No. To be simple xD
I may use I love -insert item or activity here- a lot but not I love you.

mhmm i don't think i overuse it...i mean i tell me best friends i love them all the time but I haven't told my boyfriend I love him yet, we've only been together a month.

I've never said I love you without meaning it, so I don't think I overuse it :confused3

Whenever I say "I love you" I mean it.
I say it to my friends sometimes, I always say it on the phone, mostly after I talk to my family or my boyfriend.

me and this guy arent even going out cuz im at my dads and well we were on the phone and totally out of no where he said i love you and im serious i was like whoa and then every night since we talk and last night i said i love you he was so happy and well i dont go back to my moms house untill next sunday :( so i have to wait till then to see him

I say "Ohmygod, I love that TV show/movie/song/food/famous person/etc." but I don't really throw around "I love you" with people alot. I say it to family and friends and that sort of thing, but I feel like people say they love other people a little too much. But when it comes to items and such, I kind of overuse it LOL:)
