Do you replace your car battery before it dies

wait because some places won't take in a battery unless it's fully dead and batteries are not the best on the environment so it's better to wait

We never had. I guess I never thought about replacing it before I had to.

I replace it the first time it goes dead. I don't try to keep it going after it first dies - unless I left lights on or something to cause it to go down.

I have been known to replace it if it has died once. The last time I replaced it because someone broke into my car so they could open the hood and steal the battery.
