Ok we have only been going to WDW since 1996 and we were just curious to know what price you paid on your very first on site visit when you went to WDW. Ours was 109.00 per night at the CBR when we went in Dec. of 1996 for the first time.

I paid 104.00 a night for All Star Music. I thought THAT was a bargain.;)

We honeymooned in July 1975 at the Poly for around $50 something/night. We thought that was alot of money back then. We were so overwhelmed with everything! Two kids that had died and gone to heaven! LOL! We started staying at the CBR back when it first opened. I think it was around $75-79/night rack rate.

Bump!!! Hey everyone keep this going!!!! Only wished I could get the Poly for around 75.00/night!!! LOL!!!!!

First trip by CBR in 1990 for $79/night. With some of the codes you can still come pretty close to that! Ah, but food and ticket media is another story!

My first trip to CBR was in 1990. I think I paid something like $77 per nite.

Those were the days................

We stayed in the Contempory tower for around $50 a night (in 1975)

1983- $121 per night during Christmas week at the Poly. We were offered the CBR in I think1990 for $59. per night the last week in August.

1978 FW campground, tent site, with no hookups--$21.00.
Increased to $29.00 within a year or two.

We really wanted to stay at the Contemporary, but thought the approximately $60/night was outrageousley expensive!

Beth (who will be paying a lot more than $60/night in December!)

The Polynesian - 1982 at $105 per night, lagoon view.

It was so quiet at night, we could hear the Haunted Mansion dog howling from our room.

Gosh we stayed at CBR about two months after it first opened in the 80s. I think the package price we paid for two weeks was a little over $1000.00 Canadian per person (AND THAT INCLUDED AIRFARE!)

Our first stay was in October, 1996 and I think we paid $89 a night at DxL...back when October was still considered value season!

First time ever on site was 1995 in the CT Tower Club for $340/night. I will never forget that view from our balcony watching the fireworks over the castle. What memories we have! Worth every single penny too!:D

Well, the first trip that I (not my dad LOL!) actually paid for was my honeymoon. In 1993 we stayed at POR for about $130/night. (This was Christmas week)

1975 - local campgrounds as a child. My parents remember is being around $12 night

11/1993 - Holiday Inn Maingate East - $50 something

12/1995 - All Star Music $79

04/1997 - Offsite Suite (Wyndam?) $250 but business expensed

12/1999 - Poly $179 (bought into DVC this trip)

11/2001 - Vero Beach on points

11/2002 - BCV and Vero on Points

When you end up going every other year or so like we do, the Disney Vacation Club is a great investment :)

Our first trip was in 1992 and we stayed at the Buena Vista Palace (now the Wyndham at DD) for $140 per night.

we could have stayed at the mods for $79....POR had just opened. oh if I had only known.........

that was our first and last time off site.....;)

1997, about $90 per night for Port Orleans. Those AAA packages are great if you reserve early enough.

My first trip to the World was in 1975, when I was a college student and we stayed offsite. It wasn't until 15 years later that I made my next trip. It was a last minute decision to end a business trip to Tampa with a day at EPCOT. I had made a reservation for a motel on International Drive, but decided to see what it would cost me to stay onsite. I got quoted $79 a night for CBR and foolishly turned it down, because I thought it was too high. I learned the hard way what a mistake that was and have never stayed offsite in 10 trips since.
