Do you really make your ADRs 180 days out, now?

I make them as early as possible. For our June trip, I made them all last December.

Although the last time I went, it was 120 days out. This trip, I have a list of where I want to go and (if the EMH calendar for November is similar to October's) when I want to dine there. This way I'll call at the 180 day mark and have everything together. Plus, I'm arriving the day after Thanksgiving (which will be busy on Friday & Saturday), as well as during Candlelight Processional at EPCOT & MVMCP at the Magic Kingdom.

I have our ADRs Made for our Aug trip and only a few more days for our Oct trip. So Yes I do it as close to 180 day mark as possible

This will be our first trip at being able to book at 180 days out. Yes, in less than a week, I'll booking for our Oct. trip! I do it because it's FUN!! I love knowing we're that much closer to our trip and having the plans on paper makes me smile. I end up making changes here and there, but over all the plans stay the same.

DH and I made our ADRs 180 days from both our May and September trips....we weren't even sure we were going in September...but we made them anyway!!! We just booked our September trip April 2!!!!!

As soon as January hours are released, I will finalize our trip with ADR's made as close to 180 days out as possible

We are going Thanksgiving week, so as soon as I'm at 180 days, I'll be on the phone.

So am I the only nutcase not making ADRs? I don't know where we'll be and when and don't want a "meal plan" to run our time there. The only ADR I made was Hoop dee doo. I just made that last week and we're going in June.

Being that I have not planned a vacation with a 180 day window, I do plan on utilizing the 180 day window for our next trip, which is just under 560 days away.

I have no trouble with the new system, especially since Disney is now giving out park hours 6 months in advance too. I just wish that my last 3 WDW trips had that advantage. The old 90 day window was really not handy because they didn't release park hours until about 60 days out.

I see the 180 day window as a huge bonus to my intinerary planning. Maggie
