Do you really have to RUN for a beach chair????

We were late getting to the beach and found 4 chairs and a hammock behind Gils, next to the snorkeling area. It's kind of a hidden spot. My 9 year old found it while we were picking up our snorkel gear.

I wish they would put out more, in three trips to CC I have never even come CLOSE to being able to sit in one, plenty of chairs but not enough hammocks.

This was our spot too! I happened to take a seat there while my DH picked up our rented flippers, and as I looked around, I realized it was a great spot! It's a little separated from the rest of the beach, which made it a little more serene, and there are a bunch of trees , which provided the perfect amount of shade. There are about 10-12 chairs and a hammock.

For a while during the afternoon I had it all to myself - absolute paradise, lying in the warm shade, watching the palm trees sway in the island breeze, the noise of the crowds a distant murmur. Easily one of my favorite memories of the cruise!

Oh yeah, we definitely didn't run off the ship. I don't think we disembarked until 9:30 or so, and we walked the entire way.
