I've known for quite a while that it is "four's enough", but I still read phorsenuf as "P-horse enough".

I also know the correct pronunciation of "mudnuri" (mud in your eye), but I still pronounce it in my head as "mud nyuree".

Okay, I am just now getting the mud in your eye after reading your post. Learned something new today!!

I've pronounced ilovepcot as "I love p-cot" ever since someone jokingly asked what p-cot was :teeth:.

Until I met her in person a couple of years ago I thought Poohnatic was pronounced Poohn attic, but it actually rhymes with "lunatic".

Most people with some variation of "love" and Pooh, Mickey, or Tigger - they all blend into one person to my brain. Same goes for all the "tink" names. Except for the ones like LuvsTink (which I pronounce "Love Stink" :rotfl:.)

Anyone know how mommaU4 says her name? I always say "momma-you-four", but maybe it's "momma-of-four"?
I don't know, but for the longest time I was calling her mamma, which is how we always spelled the mother name and she was so nice she never corrected me. :rotfl2:

Your username reminds me that my son knows a boy with a last name that is similar to your username and when he called a few days ago and I saw the caller ID I thought of you. Wondered why you were calling at first until I realized that the DIS does not have my home number. :rotfl2: Must be my mushbrain thinking again... ;)

OMG! My husband is wondering why I am crying I am laughing so hard :rotfl2: I don't think he would get it, as he doesn't DIS.

Note to self: Get Tigger&Belle's home number, change my caller ID to my DIS name and let the fun and games begin :-)

I don't think I read any usernames wrong, but there was a thread that I kept reading the title wrong as I'd glance at it. The name of the thread was...

Did I just blow this (guy advice)...

My brain sort of didn't notice the open parenthesis and it caught me several times. :faint:

Me too!!! :rotfl:

When I answer "Pop Daddy's Cyber Bar" would you just crap your pants? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I wish I had lurked on the DIS before I actually decided to Post because I am telling you, there are some really creative names on here.

Had I lurked I would have for sure come up with something DISNEY related for a username.

And I as well on the Thread for the "Guy's Advice" totally miss read that and quickly did a double take....whew....

Reminds me of the time I (stupidly) started a Thread on the Infomercial "DRYER BALLS"....well I can tell you the first probably 10 replies were people just so darn interested in why a Thread was titled "Dryer Balls Anyone"...
Out of many pages on that Thread maybe 5 people had seen or used d.b. :lmao: :lmao:

cantw8 I always read "the sexiest women on the dis"

I thought that was how you read my name. You just like Cantw8 for her pictures!

After us talking about the (Guy Advice) thread, it's bad timing that there's now this thread "Am I blowing this out of proportion?". :rotfl2:

Not sure, but I had to respond...otherwise it might seem like I was blowing you off, which I would never do.

I think that PixiePop, Briarmom, and princess pooh should have thought about how people would shorten their usernames before choosing them. :lmao:

I didn't realize that I'd be a DIS addict when I signed up..nor did I think about shortening my name.

I am a Thorny mom.

That's thorny you mis-reading people!

okay i can't believe i forgot this one.

call me immature (because i am :teeth: )

but whenever i see this one, i always chuckle!!! i even had to show DH!!

PeaNme
LOL, for all you gutter minds (as my mother would say ;) ) and BAD SPELLERS, it's short for Peanut - repeat Peanut - not anything else (though don't let the TF know).

When my B/G twins were very young, we called DD Peanut, sometimes Pea for short. When they first began to talk, DS had a hard time pronouncing his long name, so when she said she was "Pea", he would point to himself and say he was "Me". That's how they became the twosome Pea and Me.

I guess I should have kept the "and" instead of the "-n-". I'd never thought of any other connotation until Mr Pop Daddy became the first to point it out to me when I joined the Dis. :stir:

Oh well - I'm keepin it! :teeth:

BTW, there is an online store of the same name which I found when someone had a thread once about googling your username (and actually has some cute things). http://www.sweetpeanme.com/
