I have read most of Nora Roberts, all of Jude Deveraux, some of Joanna Lindsey......I need suggestions.

I love SERIES ROMANCE and books that are set in England, Scotland or the old west.

Suggestions anyone???????????

Julia Quinn is awesome as is Mary Balough. Both of these authors have series novels set in England. My two favorite authors of all time are Kat Martin and Judith Mcnaught.

I read all those same authors you do.. So I am no help.

I read Romance books all the time, and recently discovered a new author, for me at least-Debbie Macomber. I'm not familiar with Joanne Lindsey-have to check it out.

Its Johanna Lindsey, I misspelled it....LOL!

Do any of you have the particular name of a series? I'm ebaying and confused....LOL!

I am craving books!

I always read Danielle Steele. I find that most romance books tend to be too trashy for my taste. Especially those ones that have the perfectly sculpted man and his bride/captive/hooker/whatever with the flushed cheeks and heaving bosoms on the front.:p

Mary Balough does the Slightly series (slightly wicked, slightly sinful, slightly tempted, etc. Julia Quinn does the Bridgerton series.

You said you read Nora Roberts, but what about her psuedenom of JD Robb. If you haven't dicovered them yet, the "...In Death" series with Eve Dallas are awesome books! Fun, fast, read; murder, romance, etc.

You know I thought that too..but jude Deveaux and Nora Roberts I dont think are that trashy. I read books that my friends were reading in 8th grade. Those were a bit much..especially at that age.

Try a book called "The Blessing." It is great and I didnt think it is like the books you are speaking of.

I second JD Robb! Great series!

Hey Thanks - I am going to go look for those.

I can't read Danielle Steele for one simple reason, I worked for a man she seriously dated and it would just gross me out.....LOL!!!!!

He was always giving us roses that she had sent him and one year for Christmas we all got autographed books and he was FOREVER flying to California.....

He was also a butt hole and the thought of anyone he was/is dating just is NASTY.....LOL!!

I love Nora Roberts and Jude Deveraux! I haven't tried any of Johanna Lindsey though - I will put that on my library list to look up.

A couple of others I enjoy are Michael Fern, Barbara Delinsky and LaVyrle Spencer.

Happy reading!

I just found the Slightly series on ebay and bought it. I'm watching the Bridgerton Series that ends in a few hours!!

Johanna Lindsey is AWESOME!!!!!! I also like Catherine Coulter but have read all of hers I believe.

I think you will really enjoy the slightly series.::yes:: I consider myself a Romance novel connoisseur, I read ATLEAST one book every three days.:wave2:

Have you read 'The Notebook' and 'The Wedding'? Both excellent! I imagine you've read Nora Roberts Chesapeak Bay series -- if not, that one is terrific!

Have you read any of the VC Andrews series? Alot of them have romance.......

Click Here to see a list of all of the VCA series.

My favorite one's included the Logan Series Melody, Heart Song, Unfinished Symphony, Music in the night, and Olivia. And the Casteel Series - Heaven, Web of Dreams, Fallen Hearts, Dark Angel, and Gates of Paradise.

Mary Jo Putney writes historical romances set in England. Some of them are grouped together like a trilogy or series. She has also written 2 contemporary romance novels.

I like Dbbie Macomber - she writes a bunch of "seperate" romance novels and a couple series. Usually the series are based around a town or family. Good stuff!
