Do you print or use cursive writing?

I write in cursive. My cursive actually looks just like the 2nd grade handbook, LOL! I guess I have pretty anal retentive writing.

Most of the time I write in cursive. Sometimes I print. I'm always writing in a hurry, so I think my handwriting is bad. I also write kinda strange. I'm a righty, but I hold them pen and paper like lefties do (I write sideways).

I type. Well, whenever I can anyway. It's just so much faster!

But... I do both, printing and cursive, probably leaning more towards cursive, it's faster. If I'm taking notes in class often I print because I figure it's easier to study from printing, but if I'm writing on a test or need to speed up a bit I'll usually write cursive.

I print, and because I work with 2 different teachers who use two completely different methods to teach handwriting, my printing has some of each type

I use an odd combination of cursive and print. I'll switch back and forth, even in the same word. I've been trying to work on my cursive recently because I just realized how bad it was. I want to homeschool my kids, and it suddenly occured to me the other day that although I can easily teach calculus, chemistry, and English lit, I can't remember how to make all of my letters in cursive, especially the uppercase ones.

I do a combo of printing and cursive as well. More printing than cursive, but sometimes I connect my letters together. I only wrote in cursive from 3rd-5th grade, when I had to!

Aside from ones signature, cursive writing is pretty much becoming a thing of the past.. Anything you ever have to fill out always reads, "Please PRINT"... Think about it - unless you have a particular preference for cursive writing, when do you ever need to use it other than your signature??

I'm surprised at how many people - like me - use a combination of both. My handwriting is also terrible so nobody can probably tell whether it's printing or cursive.

When I first learned cursive I used it for awhile, and then I went right back to writing print. I write so much neater when I write in print.
