to get your post count up?

I just noticed that I'm almost at 1000 and I know I've seen people who started on the boards after me who are up in the 5000s or more and I wonder how on earth??? I feel like I'm a pretty active poster, so I can't imagine how anyone would get that many without really trying.

I post nonsense things because I'm bored. Never notice my (high 600s) post count. :rolleyes1

I post lots o randomness, but not to boost my post count.

I post nonsense things, but not to up my count.

I don't post "nonsense" things, but it is easy to increase your post count when you participate in the many games here on the Community Board or on the Theme Parks board.

Do people really care what there post count is? :confused3

I post some nonsense things, but I didn't realize post count was a big deal.

For the record, I don't really care about my post count. This board seems to lend itself to high post counts. In my 8 months here, I have about 2/3 the number of posts on another board I frequent - and I've been a member there since 1999.

Same here. I have no reason to boost my post count.

Well, I can't keep a secret. I have a friend who's pretty high up at this board. At 22,000 posts, they mail you a free loaf of bread, so keep up the good work!

It's not my intent. But sometimes it's fun to respond to a quick question.

Some people just have the need to respond to almost every thread. Sometimes it is great to write a response when you are really passionate about a subject, but most times I delete it before I post it-(the good feeling you get when you write it down finally).

Sometimes I think people who have been here awhile sorta of have this senioritus additude, but then there are great Dis'ers also that are so kind hearted, such as Dan Murphy-who I don't think has a mean bone in his body. He will help everyone and anyone with anything.

I usually don 't look at the thread count or when the poster joined unless some Dis'er points it out for some reason or another.

This is one post response I should delete, but what the heck, have to live dangerously sometimes. :rotfl2:

Neither did I! It's not like you get a prize or anything! :rotfl:

I better start really posting -- I forgot to get bread when I was at the store earlier!

Every one of my posts can be backed with good hard science.

:scratchin Well, "BS" could also stand for Bachelor of Science, so I guess you are technically correct on that one.

I've never posted nonsense type stuff but sometimes I like to read those types of threads because they make me laugh.
