Do you pay more to hop?

We always hop. But since we have AP's price isn't an issue for us.

Typically we start the day in one park, head back to the resort for some pool/nap time, then out to another park (usually Epcot) for the evening.

I strongly recommend hopping. When we visit we always hop around. We did an especially large amount of it last week. I didn't even look into the price diff between hopping & not because I know I want that option.

We're Hoppers! I don't think we could ever stay in one park all day. Sometimes we start our day in the MK, ride the monorail to EPCOT for lunch then get on the boat and go to MGM for the afternoon....all by 4 :thumbsup2

It's so much fun to have flexability. As another poster stated, it does not cost much and you never know what the planned park will be like....always have options :)

I like to be able to hop for the purpose of ADR's, also if you have "extra" time during the day and want to go see something somewhere else you can. An example is my DD really wanted to see tink fly during Wishes. Well, the first couple of days we were there we weren't close enough so we promised her to go back one evening to see her.

We don't buy hoppers.

We go at a time where emh isn't all that advantageous. So the only advantage of a hopper to us would be if we have just a bit of a park to finish up so to speak. We actually buy the water park package so we use that as a sort of hopper. We'll go to the water park, then go to a regular park we need to finish up for the rest of that evening. Or we'll go to Epcot and eat. Adding that day to the tickets is 2 bux at that point, whereas the hopper option is $40.

we always end up hopping. we like to start out one place also and maybe have lunch or swim at the hotel .then we like to go to another park, esp. to see the fireworks . we just got back ,we had 7 days w/hopper. it was great.

We hop, too. Maybe not everyday, but on the last day we are at Disney, we always go back and do our favorites "one more time". Usually that hopping takes place between MK and EPCOT. Also, MGM is usually not a whole day for us, so we gotta hop! :Pinkbounc

I like the Hopper option because it offers us more flexability with our dining choices. If we know we are going to have dinner at Epcot, for example, we can spen the day at another park, go back and change for dinner, and then head to Epcot, instead of being locked into Epcot all day simply because of our dinner reservations.

We just returned on 9/5. We did not have hopper on the ticket. My plan was to wait and if we did hop, I would go to guest services and add it then. I had every intention of adding it. What influenced us not to hop?:

-DH wanted a relaxing trip this time and since we had 10 days, we went back to the hotel to relax. If we wanted action at night, we went back to the same park, Boardwalk or dtd. This longer trip we were not as pressured to fit everything in. Also the fact that we have gone often we were not pressured.

-We did have free dinning, but stuck pretty much to our plan. As I said we would have added it if we needed to hop.

At this time the parks were not crowded for us at all. If they were we were going to hop and add it on. But we went to the parks that had ee am or ee pm the day before. This worked out well for MK on Monday. Since it had ee pm on Sunday until 1 am, hardley anyone was there all day....Plus it was labor day and many people have gone home. This strategy would not work as well, say in July when parks are more crowded. At a more corwded time I would suggest using the hoppers and ee. Get you away from the crowded parks after ee is up.

We don't hop, but do get the waterparks plus option. You can use the 'extras' on the same days, and from a waterpark to a theme park to DQ or PI if you want. I don't like rushing around much though, I just like to go one place and try to absorb it all. :smokin:

We always hop, we've never spent the whole day at one park. The cost of the hopper option is small and well worth it to us. We'd definitely pay more for the hopping privilege.

Starting with our first trip back in 1990 we have always had park hoppers and become used to switching from park to park at whim. I don't think we could plan a trip easily without it. We're big MK and Epcot fans and love riding the monorail and eating at the restaurants at Epcot and the monorail resorts. We've never become fans of the Boardwalk area or MGM so it's easy to move back and forth with Parkhoppers. Plus the more we visit WDW the more selective we've become about what we see and ride in each park, spending far less time in MGM and AK especially.

We are a hopper family. We usually go to one park in the morning, afternoon rest and a second park for the evening. I don't mind paying extra for the privilege.

We definitely hop! We take full advantage of our park-hopper passes every trip by attending one (or two) parks during the day, and then another for dinner, etc. It suits our touring style and we would never go without it!

Another hopper here! :yay: Can't imagine not having the option, but that's just our preference!

Hop! Hop! Hop!
Yep, I am a hopper!
We like the flexibility and don't want to feel "forced" into staying at one park. Sometimes we return from one of the other parks and head to MK just for wishes or for some late night rides...

We don't hop. Tried it a few times, but we would drive to the parks, and it took way to much time out of our park time going between parks. Now we just stay at one park each day.

We're hoppers. We like the flexibility to change our minds on any given day under any given circumstances. Ya never know when your best laid plans might hit a bump in the road.

a short trip (3-4 days) before a cruise. I'm going to skip the hoppers on our land/sea vacation next spring. I think we can be happy with a day at MK, a day at Epcot and 1/2 day each at AK & DS, planning meals & ADRs as well as evening activities in one park a day. Hopping would take too much time out of a short trip. ;)
