do you park hop with little ones?

My dd are 6, 3, and 1. We have five days and I was wondering if most people add the park hopper option or is 1 park per day enough with little ones that poop out quickly. ::MinnieMo

We've always hopped. When mine were as young as yours we'd go to a park in the morning, go to the room and rest, then chose where we wanted to go for the rest of the day. Now we hop when the park we're in gets too crowded. This usually happens to us at MK or when we go to EMH.

Resting up after a busy morning is much easier on your little ones. You can nap and/or hit the pool. Then head out to the park later on in the afternoon. We like to go to a different park in the afternoon/evening.

When are you going? If it's during a busy time, I'd think you'd want the hopper option for the added flexibility.

We're going Easter time and are planning to hop once MK gets too crowded.

We get to the parks at opening and take breaks every day, usually leaving right after an early lunch. we spend some time at our resort, swimming, then napping, then go back to a park. It doesn't take any more effort or time to go to a different park than the same one in our case, so we have done it. (kids are in preschool)

That said, we decided not to spend the ($35 x 5 = ??) to park hop this year. Instead, we got more days (7) on our MYW tickets. I am hoping we don't feel too constrained by it, but when we reflect on the last two years we only park hopped about 1/3 of the days anyway.

Just make sure that you go to the park with EMH during the day (especially evenings), so you can do EMH at the special park that night.

We park hop with our now 5yr old and almost 2yr old - typically we go back to the hotel and have lunch/swim and some nap time and then head back out - sometimes DW will take DS#2 and I take DS#1 right to another park - we always do the EMH (even at AK where the EMH can be busier than a regular day) to get touring time during the cooler part of the day as well

I would say though that park hopping with young kids may not work based on your hotel location (for example on or offsite?) and the parks you want to hop between

If you posted the resort you were staying at, I would feel more comfortable with a more assertive opinion for you
