Do you "park" an ECV with strollers to wait in line?

We are trying to plan a trip with my mother who will be in an ECV. She will need to use it at all times. Is there a book or something that will tell me which rides she can go on? Do we need the GAC for our party to stay together on rides or just get in line together? We will have 4-6 others in our party depending on what ride it is and if a 1 yr old can go on too.

There's a lot of information on this forum...check it out.

A lot of people also really recommend The Open Passporter (I hope I got that name right).

Generally, we haven't had any problem with keeping our party together. I'd say whenever you aren't sure, just ask the CM and it should work out.

ETA: I should add that buses can create a different issue. When we took our whole family last year we had my DW with a w/c and her father with an ECV and then 10 other people. Technically, I believe that you are supposed to be able to load up to 6 with each w/c or ECV onto the buses. But, we tended to just load them and myself (carrying the w/c) and sometimes my DW's mother that way and then everyone else got on the front. Although we noticed that we got lots of people grumbling at us for being such a large party with "preferential boarding" even when we had been the first people at the bus stop and everyone else had gotten there more than 10 minutes after us. (Plus, they never seem to notice that the "preferential boarding" includes getting off last.) Again, there is lots of advice here about the buses--check it out and see what works for your family.

FAQs has most of the answers and there is a guidebook to tell you what the ride requirements are. Since she is not leaving the ECV she would not need a GAC and they would not seperate your party unless there are more than 6 in your party.

This is their guidebook but I think they have not updated it as I did not see Toy Story Mania there.

There is a child swapping pass that can be used when the baby cannot ride. Check with the CM Greeter for more information. Everyone but the babysitter rides using standby or fastpass line. They exit then the babysitter and one or in rare cases two people will ride with the babysitter using the child swapping pass. It varies from ride to ride but is like a fastpass but check with the CM for exact instructions.

Also know that on a few rides you can transfer to a WC from a scooter either till you get to the ride itself or even onto the ride itself if it has a WC accessible ride vehicle.
On the few rides where I did not ride the ECV to the ride I have transferred to the chair. POTC is one such ride that comes to mind.
