I have about 12, I think. I'm not really interested in trading, I just pick up the ones from my favorite resorts and attractions, and then I have a couple from backstage tours.

My two little nieces (7 and 9) were over at the house helping me pack to move the other day, and they found my disney pins. We ended up sitting on the floor for almost an hour, as they asked me to tell them about each one. So cute!

I got addicted several years ago and add to my collection on every trip. I have a couple of full binders, several full lanyards. In between trips, I scan eBay for available pins. My DW says I need to seriously consider joining a Disney pin collectors 12-step program! :earseek:

Nope, I don't own a single pin. I know if I get one, I'm going to start wanting to collect them...and I don't need anymore collections!!! :p

Yes I have Disney pins and I am afraid to count how many. LOL

I limit my self to just one on my trips now, but that is extremely hard to do, when they have so many great ones. ::yes::

I don't trade though, not that I don't want to, but I am too shy :o to go up to a Cast Member and ask. So my sister has agreed to do it for me on our next trip. :p

Bought a couple on my last day at WDW, well almost was able to resist. :p

Purchased: Mickey USA 2004 Oympic pin
Mickey shaking firemans hand from Main St Firehouse
Partner Walt & Mickey in front of Castle
Goofy MGM 4th of July Pin
Lilo & Stitch Lanyard, only kept 1 Stitch pin traded rest off the lanyard
Trades were:Aristocats 1970
Muppet Vision 3D
Stitch USA 2004 Olympic Pin

Since I've been home, purchase thru EBay (Yes I'm hooked)

Sorcerer Mickey with Brooms

Stitch reading book in Pinapple box bed shipping too
Coronado Springs Resort Dangle pin

One I was real excited to get Zorro pin - they only made one type of Zorro and I was a real fan so I had to get on Ebay.

Yes, you can tell I favor our favorite blue alien experiment 626. I hope to expand my collection with Stitch pins being the favorite.

I've decided to limit my collection to (mostly) pins from resorts I've stayed at. So far I have: Fort Wilderness, Dixie Landings, Port Orleans (both before they became POR and POFQ), CBR, CS, BC, ASMu, AKL, and the Poly. This Dec I will be adding WL and Pop. I also have a couple of Wonder/DCL pins, and a few AP pins. It's a lot of fun looking at them and remembering the different stays at the resorts!!

I never knew there was such a things as pins, or pins and lanyards, till I saw it last year on the Travel Channel "Great Hotels" program. Samantha Brown was at the GF, I think. When did this pin trading idea originate?

i bought my first pin many years ago and have bought many since!! pin trading is addictive! it's fun though. within the last 2 years or so, i've gotten my brother into it. i like getting pins from places besides disney too. they make good souveniers

It first started back in 2000.

My name is Scratch, and I have caused my DD to become a PIN ADDICT!LOL

It all started with a American Express Pin!

DD has a backpack strictly for her traders!

A Briefcase for her keepers!

And Who Knows what will happen on our next trip!

I won't even say the number of pins we have for our next 3 trips!

Give a Hint! It's in the Hundreds!

Look Out CM's!

I own very few... I've bought a couple myself and have been given the rest by others.

I've bought, been the recipient and been the giver of pins. My ds steals all my pins though.:p

I own some. We buy a few each trip but only the ones that mean something to us. We like to get the DVC ones, or favorite attractions. I am not a serious collector and we don't trade.

I'm looking forward to doing some pin trading in a few weeks. I love them.

I have 50 or so, most have been given to me, a number from Disney tours, packages and the like, never trade any.

More of a collector than a trader but I've been known to do a trade or two as well.

I put them in shadow boxes in our computer room. One frame has all our DCL pins, another all our Disneyland pins and then I have 5 others with WDW pins. I've got many, many more that I haven't put in frames yet. We got some great pins as gifts at DVC Member Homecoming as well.

I don't have any of my own but my three dds love them! I do really like them and sometimes think I should start my own collection of "Belle" and Walt Disney pins.

I have a few, but almost all of them have been given or won. :)

I have one from when I was young..it's pluto...I had a thing for pluto when I was younger.

Then we have one from 2000 that came with the package we booked for that trip.

We have a couple of Magic Music Days pins from that trip with DH's band in 2003.

And then we have all the pins DH won for being in the hotseat for WWTBAM. I think that's it.

Oh..also have a pin from keys to the kingdom tour, but that's not really a pin like the pin trading kind.

:D

I have a few. I bought my first few during my last trip in 2002. I think they're cool but I'm not obsessive about them and I don't plan on becoming an avid collector of them. I buy the one's I like and that's fine for me.
