Do you own a Mickey Mouse Poncho

I was at Disneyland this past Saturday when it rained for about 5 or 6 hours straight. We along with about 1/2 or 2/3 of the park visitors that day broke down and bought ponchos. I'm sure glad we did as most of the people who were wearing jackets were soaked through. It made it really fun to go on Grizzly River Run and Splash Mountain.

I'm just wondering how many of you also own a Mickey or Disney poncho.

I was there too but I'm pretty used to light rain so I just bought an umbrella later in the day.

More practical for me.

we have yellow mickey ones we bought in WDW...and clear mickey ones we got a few weeks ago...(which btw are not all that great unless you have really small heads...ours ripped at the neckline!) oh well...

Turn them it during your next rainy visit, Disney merchandise (any cashier) will replace them free. That why we have 4, two yellow and two clear. $6 ain't bad with lifetime replacements. My niece's ripped at WDW and the CM offered a replacement.

Yes, I own a yellow one and last year I brought clear ones because I forgot my yellow one at home. I like the clear better with MM on it

I'm new around here - been lurking for a while, but I can answer this question! We have several yellow Mickey ponchos, and a Mickey poncho for Mr. Potato Head - too cute!!! We found it in the park not too long ago and had to add to the collection!

I own three of them. I always bring them back with me each trip, but forget to bring it to the park, and get caught in the rain so I have to buy another.

We plan to buy them when we go (in 9 days, but who'se counting....) I figure we can use them on GRR even if it doesn't rain.....

We still have two blue ones with MM on them from when we went when our dd was 4...she is 16 now. We also have a yellow one we bought a few years ago (now that our dd is adult sized). We take them everytime we go to the parks and they are still perfect....pretty good quality I'd say!

Ours are royal blue with the castle on it and it says "Disneyland Resort", they are abut 4 or 5 years old. But it seems like I always forget them at home

We own several, all from Disneyland (the blue ones). I am amazed at how many of those blue DL Resort Ponchos I see at WDW and here at home in Denver. Great to know they will replace them if they get ripped, fil borrowed mine and his head is very big so it ripped, glad I didn't throw it out!

I'm not so sure that would work. It's one thing if you just bought it and then put it on & it ripped. You are standing there with a receipt and will need a new one or you'll get wet!

I have some of these and they are great when riding Splash, etc. If you are out and about inthe parks and don't see the ponchos on the counter, as the CM. They are probably kept behind the counter or in the back.

We have the old yellow ones and like them the best.. As not many people have them. So we can alwyas see each other. Still have the blue ones too!

We even got a mickey pin with him wearing the yellow poncho and the poncho is 'rubbery'. We just keep them in the car..
You can catch me wearing mine just about anywhere.. Even NASCAR races. I embarass the heck out of DH. But he never loses me!

We fold them upand they fit into a quart size ziploc bag.

Me and a friend had a New Year's vacation at Disneyland earlier this month and when we got there New Year's Eve it was POURING rain and we had these cheapy ponchos that were GARBAGE! So the next day at the park we got the signature Mickey ponchos and we loved them! Pretty much EVERYONE had one...

My husband liked the fact that they are clear. He said he will take them to football games (and his red can still show through).

Yup. Got quite a collection. Lol. Thankfully never had to buy any at Disneyland in 2004 as it was sunny every single day but we have yellow WDW ones (from two different trips I think so we have doubles), yellow DLRP ones and then blue Shamu ones and blue IOA ones. We never seemed to take them the days it rained so it was either get soaked or buy more ponchos. And the days we did take them it was sunny. Typical.
