I have never ordered food on-line...until just now.

I LOVE Salty Stix, they're very, very thin salty pretzels made by Schulz and the only store I can ever find them in is Meijer's and the closest one is a 45-minute drive. I usually stock up on them whenever I get the chance, but happened to notice a web site on the box so went to it and discovered I can order them on-line through Amazon.

If I buy them at Meijer's, it would be about $23 (including tax) for 12 boxes.

A case of 12, through Amazon, is $26.40 with FREE shipping!!

I just ordered a case!! Yeah!!

I ordered a bunch of sausages, cheeses, mustards, pretzels, and brochens online when I held an Oktoberfest surprise party for my husband. Yummmm....

I order several times a year from Omaha Steaks and from Stonewall Kitchen. An atty friend of my DH's usually sends us a Kansas City ham for Christmas each year. I have no aversion to ordering food online and having it shipped.

I'd have definitely ordered the pretzels if I was you. Gas alone would cost you more than $3 to drive to/from the grocery store.

I haven't done this yet, but I am planning to order some Tim Tams online one of these days. I did a box exchange with a girl from Australia on another MB last year and I fell in LOVE with Tim Tams!!! :cloud9:
