Do you need to be a AAA member when you book?

Or can you book then sign up for AAA? I would only be signing up for the discount. How much does it run per year for a membership?

You need to be a member first. There are different types of memberships, we have the AAA Plus (in case we need further towing, etc.)

A single-person standard membership is between $40 and $50 per year.

We pay $105 for all four of us because we actually USE the roadside portion of the membership.

(I have college-aged sons with old cars).

Sometimes the CMs ask me for my number, sometimes they don't.
