That is true. MVMCP and MNSSHP are both "hard ticket" events. No park ticket required. The real challenge is when will they let you in. If you're already in on a park hopper, you get a wristband. As regular park hours end CMs will start to check for the wristbands at rides. Not cash registers, though ; )
Does anyone know, can you put these hard tickets on MBs?

Hard ticket parties are different than evening EMH. Those without wristbands can't stay in the park after 7. That includes no walking around, no shopping, and by some reports, not even a bathroom stop.

Agreed. They will actually come and sweep people from the parks without wrist bands. They check every single person they pass by.
I remember one story about a family last year that got quite irate because they weren't allowed to shop after the party started because they did not have party tickets.
Once it turns 7:00 pm, if you don't have a party wristband, you are officially a pumpkin. No more fancy dress, no more horses and footmen. Please take your one glass slipper and exit the park.

After 7pm, I went to use the restroom by City Hall, and a CM was at the entrance checking for wristbands (I had one). If you didn't have a wristband, you didn't go in. However, just outside the front entrance are restrooms, for those without a wristband.

Those trying to enter shops at 7pm without a wristband are not allowed in. They station CMs at the entrances to check. They put out special party merchandise when the party starts at 7pm, and only ticketed party guests are allowed to purchase it. If you're already in a store at 7pm, and try to ring up party merchandise without a wristband, I don't know what's done in that case.

Only party ticket needed. Entry usually allowed at 4. Have been in line prior and held until 4.
Have booked FP+ with party ticket only.
Ticketed parties are not a gray area, 7 pm only guests with tickets ride, shop, eat and go to bathrooms. CMs block entrances and move non-ticketed guests out. Seen plenty try without success over years.
