Do you need a park pass/ticket to go to Citywalk?

on our arrival day we may only have time for dinner. I'd like to go to Citywalj but don't want to use a park pass/ticket.

Nope, you can go....no ticket needed.

If you're staying offsite, you will have to pay for parking though. (I think it goes down after a certain hour, but its been a few years since I've been there so I'm not sure when)

Thank you! We are staying on-Site, so parking not an issue. Thanks again!

I do believe that on some nights after a certain time (i.e. after 10pm or similar) some of the bars/restaurants may have a cover charge to enter. I'm not a bar hopper, so really never tried to head to one of the restaurant/bars that late. But as long as you arrive before then, you shouldn't be charged the cover charge for any of the bars. If you are going that late, I think you can buy a "party pass" or if you have a Park ticket, you don't have to pay the cover charges.

Thank you! Good to know. My bar hoping days are sadly over. We would be going to Citywalk around 8-8:30pm for dinner and maybe just a glass of wine to kick off our vacation.

Parking is free for everyone after 6pm. (Only exception is during Halloween Horror Nights, when it's 8pm on event nights -- New Years Eve I think is another exception).

City walk is open to the public weekends usually have more there

City Walk closes at 2:00 am
Some of the eateries stop do stop food orders at midnight

Citywalk.com will have info for stores and eateries there

I know Bob Marley, O’Brien has a cover charge after 9

Rising Star also cover charge involved

City Walk party passes can be bought at guest services (in City Walk) which allows you to have cover charges waived

You do go through metal detectors before you enter CityWalk, just a heads up.

Security checks are when you enter from the parking area and right before the walkway into city walk

It’s quick!

Once through that, no more checks for city walk

If coming by boat from a hotel, scanned before you get on the boat

If using the walking path from the hotels, security check is prior before you enter city park

No more checks not even at the parks then

It is nice to go to City walk. It’s usually buzzing with energy around the time you will arrive.

But if you are super hungry, most of the on site hotels have really good restaurants.
