Depends... have you paid your room in full already? do you have a package or room-only? do you want charging privileges to your room?

Just booked the trip, will pay with cash when I arrive. No charging privileges, and it is a room only.

We didn't need one when we checked in. Was asked if we wanted to charge to the room, said no, and that was it. Everything was done and paid for before we arrived.

I think the total amount of time I stood at the counter to check in was about 5 minutes. Very quick and the CM was very nice!!!

Now for check out, I was there for awhile, but we left the day after Charley went through. Alot of other people had the same idea about hurrying up and getting on the roads.

Just thought I'd add, we've done without a cc on several visits, it's never been a problem. We either paid our room in advance by check or paid off the balance at check-in with check or cash (if by check, they want 2 forms of ID.) Then, when asked if we wanted to charge to the room, once we decided not to, and a couple of times we just gave X dollars in cash on account. That way, we only needed to take our room key to the parks. It's really up to you, a cc is not a necessity.

You won't need one, but I always have them put one on file so I can have express check-out. That way, the morning you leave, you don't have to wait in line to check out. You can just leave and if you have any charges (I never do) they will be billed to your credit card.

Yes, if you want express check out. We use our debit card and I stop at the front desk the night before we leave for a print out of our account. I can go over it and pay off any charges before we leave. We usually leave very early in the morning and the bill usually isn't on the door yet.

You can leave cash to charge to your room??? I didn't know that, that would be great so I do not have to carry cash around. If I use my CC then I will wind up saying...oh I'll pay it later, so I really don't even want to bring it. Thanks for all the info!! You guys...and girls...are the best!!!
