Do you miss the pre-show at Rise of the Resistance if you use LL?

My goal is to obtain an ILL for Rise but I know there are a lot of interesting things to see as you wind around the que inside as well as a pre-show.
Does the LL bypass all of that?

No, the merge point for LL and standby is right before the preshow. You don't really miss anything if you do LL. The standby line doesn't have anything interesting to look at like FOP and definitely nothing interesting enough to stand in a 120 minute line for.

You'll miss everything up to the BB8 pre-show.
So you don't miss a lot.

Having read Galaxy’s Edge: Black Spire, a novel that was obviously written “to order” to give the history and backstory of all the locations in GE, I found the standby queue interesting. But without that knowledge, the details in the standby queue are meaningless. I think Disney missed the mark in not basing the queue on a location that was or would become familiar to many people via the movies.

I got an 11:25 AM ILL today between 7:15 and 7:20. The ones that showed up at 7 AM were after 5 PM but I was patient and kept refreshing. And just like the old FP you can enter 5 minutes early
