Do you miss the old Akershus?

I loved the original smorgasbord too. Another thing that really concerns me is that the princesses detract from Akershus being showcased for Norwegian cuisine. After all I thought that was what world showcase was all about. My DH and I will still continue to go for the dining and I might just make my own sign for our table saying "Princess free zone."

I am a fan of the old Akershus. I doubt the new Akershus will change - lots of princesses add up to lots of $ for Disney. That entire area is packed with strollers and little girls. The old restaurant was nowhere near as crowded.

Yes we really missed it last year It took the shine off going to Epcot in a way knowing we couldn't get the kind of meal we used to love, we would sometimes go there twice, for dinner, in a two week visit.

BRING BACK THE OLD AKERSHUS!

Lets hope something happens as we are due back to WDW in Oct 2007, or maybe sooner, and so want to be able to have our favorite meal again.
