Do you make your bed daily?

Nope - My husband works from home and gets up three hours after I do. He doesn't make the bed and it's not really a big deal to me during the week.

Weekends are another story. Bed is made.

I make it only on the day the cleaning lady comes because I don't want her to think I'm a slob . But the rest of the week, I don't see the point since I leave my bedroom in the morning and don't enter it again until bedtime.

It wasn't lack of proper upbringing either . My mom makes the bed first thing in the morning and she tried, tried, tried to convince me that it was a Good Thing..... but failed.

Yes, I always make the my bed.... The day just seems off kilter if its not made. Hey..this is my sad attempt to make the day start off good and go smooth. To bad its not working yet

I don't always make my bed, but I do straighten the covers. I cannot sleep with wrinkled sheets though, so my bed may not get "made" every day, but darn close.

Yes. I make it first thing. I can't stand an unmade bed. DD, on the other hand, won't make hers. She acts like I'm asking her to cut her arm off or something. I just shut her door. Sometimes I wonder if she's really my kid.

I've gotten back in the habit recently as it just makes the room feel nicer to walk into, I can lay items on the bed and find them again and it just seems to put structure in the day... sort of like the flylady's obsession with clean sinks.

My problem is everytime I swoosh the sheets a Russian Blue comes flying out of nowhere and zips under the blanket before it settles, just like a little kid

I feel the little ones are plotting against me... whatever I do to improve the place, no matter how minor, oneof them has to go and undo it.​

I make the bed every single day right after I get up. DH never makes the bed. If I am away with friends for the weekend...the bed does not get made by DH!

As soon as it is made...I start sorting my laundry on top of it into piles...hoping it gets put away before evening.

MY DS' rarely make their beds. They are off to college and I refuse to go into their dorms. Growing up I always made them make the bed. They did but not to my liking soooo after they always left for school...I made it over. If they ever saw me do that, they would have said growing up..."why bother making the bed...you will only make it over again"... They never did sooo when they are home and in my house they DO make their beds!

Absolutely I make mine! ASAP. I feel like bedroom looks unkempt and dirty if my bed is not made.

My kids are SUPPOSED to make their beds every morning and if I am trying to be god and not do it for them I have to shut their bedroom doors because I can not stand to look at their unmade beds.
Often I make it for them, even though I know I shouldn't.

No, you are NOT the only chick here who doesn't make her bed! I don't see the point. The only time I really spend any time in my bedroom is when I sleep. Otherwise, I don't have to worry about what the bed LOOKS like!
Oh, and I also read that bed bugs are less attracted to unmade beds...

I make our bed every morning but DD doesn't always and I don't really care. Her room is at the end of the hall so I don't have to look at it.

Yes, I do. My kids don't sleep under the covers for some reason, so either they or I will fold their blankets every morning.

Not really. Sometimes I will kinda pull the covers up but thats about it!

Whoever gets up last has to make the bed. When I make it, the sheets and blanket are neatly tucked in and the quilt is smoothed out.

When DH makes it he basically pulls the sheets and quilt up. Very messy looking but at least he makes the attempt.

My parents never made the bed either, so I really didn't have any experience with it. It's just not a big deal to me. In fact, a made bed really annoys me because I like to sleep with the covers only covering my middle.
