Do you look good in photographs?

I don´t usually look good in photos although there are a few I can live with. I would love to have a nice "makeover" some day (just a hair-do, pretty make up and so on) and professional pics taken.

I look bad in most pictures. My dd celebrated her Sweet 16 last may and in about the 500 or so pics that were taken at the party, my dd, dh and ds looked wonderful. I looked halfway decent in one picture! I think my eyes look too small and my smile is crooked!

I hate pictures of myself. I always have some strange look on my face, I think its from the flash on the camera!

I thought that, too, until I finally figured out that I just have a strange face! NOT saying that you do!!!

Every now and then a picture comes along that I like (like the one in my tag!). Most of the time I hate pictures of me. My MIL has a knack for taking weird candid pictures of me, and I always have my eyes half-closed, I'm in the middle of talking or I have some other goofy expression on my face. People must think I'm a real gem when they look at HER scrapbooks!

Honestly, I enjoy having my picture taken and I do like how I look in photographs (for the most part, I mean there are some pictures that are just awful because of lighting or poses or whatever). Others have told me I am photogenic, and who am I to argue with that?

I don't mind having my pic taken. Once I got my teeth fixed in middle school I wanted to smile every chance I got !

DH on the other hand typically doesn't take good posed pics. If it is a relaxed setting he is OK but the posed pics he looks extremely uncomfortable and like he is trying to hard or something.

I do not take good photos at all.

As a matter of fact I just recently had one (and it's on my debit card!!) that could win awards for "worst picture".

DH cringed and my brother said "ouch"

I think I use to, but then I had kids.

Now I have no time to really worry about myself and make sure my kids look good.

I've been more and more consistantly liking pictures of myself....I used to always look really round and frumpy in pics, and I hated it, but I've gotten prettier since high school. My face thinned out a little in the past few years and I finally grew out my poofy bangs I had since I was little. One thing that bugs me is that one of my eyes looks slightly squintier than the other, but I'm probably the only one who notices.

My grandmother *hated* having her picture taken...we have many pictures of her trying to hide herself. We have a picture of her holding me at about one year old trying to shield herself behind me. One year, dad was videotaping our family Thanksgiving at the table. Gramma held a cup up to one side of her face...so Dad got sneaky and went around to the other side. hehe.

I photograph horribly! I either look away, have my eyes closed are just moved when the shot is taken.
When my 2 DD when in the 5th grade, they needed a family picture. the only ones we had were them with my DH.
No everyone thinks we're divorced!

I am not photogenic at all. Once in a blue moon, I'll take a good picture that really looks like me. DH photographs like a movie star. He's always been that way.

I hate how I look in pictures. There are 3 pictures of me where I think I look ok. On my cruise this summer I will take a lot but I bet I will only find one that I can stand. At least DBF thinks I look beautiful, because I sure as heck don't!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Wish I could figure out what makes the difference when the photo is taken.

It's a running joke in my family..if they ever want a good laugh, they just take a picture of me!

Seriously, I ALWAYS have this 3 day drunk look on my face. Not pretty!

The only pictures I think I look ok in are when I'm wearing sunglasses. They hide the drunk eyes!
